Specify the port number to be used to transmit service and system information using the Electronic Service Agent. A port number must be specified to enable Electronic Service Agent Connection Manager.
This is the port number to which POWER4 Electronic Service Agent clients will connect to use the call-home facilities of this HMC. Typically, you should not change this from the default value of 1198. If you do, you must make a corresponding change at each Electronic Service Agent client you want to use this function.
For example, if you use the default port 1198 and the IP address of your HMC providing the Electronic Service Agent Connection Manager function is 9.60.92.202, each of your POWER4 systems that use Electronic Service Agent Connection Manager for their call-home activities must have their Call Controller URL to Connection Manager set to https://9.60.92.202:1198, if using Secure Mode. Otherwise, use http:9.60.92.202:1198 for non-secure mode.
