Building JSF applications with the Enterprise Repository view

You can use the Enterprise Repository view to add EnterpriseItem and EnterpriseItems beans to your JSF applications. For more information about building BusinessObjects Enterprise JSF applications, see Developing a JSF web application.

Adding an EnterpriseItem bean

To add an EnterpriseItem bean to your JSF page
  1. Drag one item from the Enterprise Repository view onto your JSF page.
  2. The New EnterpriseItem wizard opens.

  3. Choose an Identity bean.
  4. The identity property must be initialized to an Identity bean that supplies the Enterprise session and user credentials.

  5. If you want to use the latest instance of the report, select the “Use Latest Instance” check box.
  6. Note:    If no previous instance of the report exists, then the report will be run again instead of using the latest instance.

Adding an EnterpriseItems bean

To add an EnterpriseItems bean to your JSF page
  1. Drag and drop multiple items from the Enterprise Repository view onto your JSF page.
  2. The EnterpriseItems bean is created automatically.
