Sgn (number)
Description
Returns the sign of a given number.
Arguments
number is the value you want to know the sign of.
Returns
Returns 1, 0 or –1
Action
Sgn returns the sign of a given number: 1 if number > 0, 0 if number is 0, and -1 if number < 0.
Examples
Sgn (-10)
Returns -1.
Sgn (0)
Returns 0.
Sgn (10)
Returns 1.
