Preserving and restoring component and workspace configurations

• Creating a component baseline
  A baseline records the current configuration of a component in a repository workspace or stream.
• Taking a workspace snapshot
  A snapshot is a permanent record of the contents of a workspace.
• Replacing workspace contents with a snapshot
  You can replace the contents of a workspace with a snapshot to restore it to a previous state.
• Promoting or deleting a snapshot
  A snapshot is initially associated with the workspace or stream from which it was created. You can establish a relationship between the snapshot and another stream by promoting the snapshot. You can also delete a snapshot, which removes the association between a snapshot and a stream but preserves the snapshot in the repository.
