Exploring the history of components and files
Jazz™ source control provides
a variety of ways for you to explore the history of a component or any of
the files it contains, and to compare the state of a file in your workspace
with its state in other workspaces or streams.
The history of a component comprises an ordered list of change
sets, each of which includes one or more items (files or folders). The history
of any item in a change set comprises an ordered list of the change sets in
which the item appears. You can use the
History view
to list the change set history of a component or file, and the
Change
Explorer view to see more detail about the changes in a change
set.
Note: You cannot list the history of a folder.
