The installation package includes everything you need to get started.
The default configuration includes these items:
- The supported versions of a Java™ Development Kit (JDK) for Windows® and Linux®.
- A working image of Apache Tomcat Web application server that contains
the Jazz™ Web
application.
- A Derby database and all necessary database libraries.
Important: Using Jazz Team
Server with
a Derby database supports up to 10 users. To support more than 10
users, use a DB2® Express, DB2 or Oracle database. DB2 Express
is included with the Standard and Express edition installation packages
when you use the IBM Installation Manager. If you use the .zip file
installation method, the DB2 Express download is available on the
same site as the Rational® Team
Concert download.
After DB2 Express is installed, you must install and configure it
as described in the installation setup guide.
