Each dashboard can be easily customized as needed many times over the course of a project. Dashboards have a low barrier of entry – a modern browser is all that is needed.

Dashboards are Web UI artifacts that are a UI representation of the dashboard repository items. There are three distinct types of dashboards: project, team and contributor. Their association implies their intended usage. In addition, contributors can have one public dashboard called profile. In addition to profiles, contributors can have several private dashboards. Unlike project, team and profile dashboards, private dashboards are only visible to their creators.
Dashboards have a title and one or more page tabs. Page tabs have one to three columns. Columns contain basic building blocks – viewlets. Viewlets are rectangular widgets in Jazz dashboards that perform a useful function. The actual content shown in a viewlet depends on the viewlet type as well as the way the particular instance has been configured. Viewlets can be configured in a number of ways, showing dramatically different information as a result.
The left column of the dashboard Web UI page contains various means to navigate to dashboards. Each contributor can directly access her profile dashboard, as well as all the project and team dashboard she belongs to.
