Viewing the change history of a component
The History tool window of a component
lists each of the change sets applied to it. You can view the change
history of component either from the Team Artifacts tool
window or from the Pending Changes tool window.
Ensure that you have created components for a stream.
Every component is made up of one or more change sets. To
get a more detailed view of each change set, you can open it in the
Change
Explorer tool window. You can have as many components as
you want under a stream.
To view the change history of a component:
- In either the Team Artifacts tool
window or in the Pending Changes tool window,
select a component.
- Right-click the component and click Show History. The History tool window displays
the comment, creator name, and date of creation of each of the change
sets of the component.
To have a detailed view of each of the change sets, right-click
the change set and select any option.
