If you want to see the differences between a workspace
and a stream, you can compare them. You can also compare a workspace
with another workspace or a stream with another stream.
Before you compare, you must create the workspaces and streams.
You can compare a workspace with another workspace or a stream
either from the
Team Artifacts tool window or
from the
Pending Changes tool window.
Note: You
can compare a stream with another stream or a workspace only from
the Team Artifacts tool window.
To compare
a workspace or a stream with another workspace or a stream:
- In the Team Artifacts tool window,
right-click a workspace or a stream and click . Alternatively, you can select a workspace
from the Pending Changes tool window.
- In the Select a Stream or Workspace window,
select the type of compare that you want to do. If your compare result is not displayed, type a text string to specify
the name of a stream or workspace. If you do not remember the name
of the stream or workspace, you can also type the owner's name to
see a list of streams or workspaces associated with that owner.
- Select a stream or workspace from the Matching
items list and click OK.
