Working with projects and teams
You can create and modify project areas and team areas
for the team to share the project work and keep track of it.
- Getting started with projects and teams
This topic gets you started with the basic
functionality such as accepting the team invitation, connecting to
a repository, connecting to a project area, and creating streams and
components.
- Accepting the team invitation
When a user is added to a team area or a project area and e-mail notification is enabled, the team lead or project administrator can send an invitation with connection instructions.
- Connecting to a repository
A repository is a central location to store data. You must
create a connection from Visual Studio to a repository in Jazz to work with the project artifacts. Your Jazz Team Server administrator must
provide you with the access privilege to the repository.
- Connecting to a project area
After the Jazz Team
Server administrator creates a project area, you must connect to it
to access the project artifacts.
