Finding work items
You can find work items by either creating queries, using
predefined queries, or retrieving a particular work item by using
its ID. Queries are particularly useful when you need to search a
group of work items of same attributes.
- Creating a query
You can customize the search for work items by creating
queries. A query consists of conditions that you want the search to
revolve around. For example, you can create a query that returns all
open work items for the current iteration. You can create as many
queries as you want.
- Using a predefined query
Jazz™ provides a set
of queries that you can use to retrieve work items that meet a common
set of conditions.
- Retrieving a specific work item
Every work item has a unique ID or a text string that specifies
the summary of the work item. If you remember the work
item ID or summary text, you can easily retrieve that work item.
