Viewing the report using the Viewer Tag Library

The Viewer Tag Library lets you access the report viewing capabilities of the viewers without needing to embed large amounts of Java code in your JSP pages.

To view a report using the Viewer Tag Library

1. In the Project Explorer view, go to the CrystalReportsDemo\WebContent \Sample Reports folder.
2. Expand the Sample Reports node, and right-click Customer Profile Report.rpt.
3. Select Crystal Reports > Create Viewer JSP.
4. Select Insert standard Tag Lib code and click OK.
5. Right-click Customer Profile Report-viewer.jsp and click Run As > Run on Server.
6. Select the option Manually define a new server.
7. Expand the Apache node and select the correct version of your Apache Tomcat server.
8. Select the version of the Apache Tomcat Server in the Server runtime list and click Finish.
