Updating your applications to use the latest version of components

When you purchase a product upgrade or download a Customer HotFix, you must update the IDE and project preferences.

To update the IDE preferences
  1. On the Window menu, click Preferences.
  2. The Preferences dialog box opens.

  3. Click Crystal Reports > Crystal Reports Application Version, and set the Available versions field to the new version.
  4. Click OK.
To update the project properties
  1. In the Package Explorer, select the project that you want to update.
  2. On the Project menu, click Properties.
  3. Expand the Crystal Reports File Versions node, and click Update.
  4. Click OK.
