The enterprise reporting scenario uses the BusinessObjects Enterprise Java SDK to leverage an external BusinessObjects Enterprise server. This provides additional functionality such as runtime report creation, persisting runtime report modification back to the Crystal Reports report (.rpt) file, report management, security, and scheduling. The BusinessObjects Enterprise server also improves scalability and increases performance to support extensive user concurrency demands.
