Crystal Reports for Rational Application Developer Designer Guide

To link database tables

  1. Connect to a data source.
  2. Place the database tables on the report by dragging them onto the Crystal Reports designer.

    Note: You can also place the database tables by selecting them in the "Data Source Explorer", right-clicking and selecting Insert.
  3. Select the database field in the from table.
  4. Drag the field to the database field in the to table.
    If the link is successful a line is drawn between the two tables.
