To subtotal data

  1. Select the CUSTOMER_NAME, Region, Postal Code, Country, and LAST_YEARS_SALES fields from the Customer table, and move them to the Body section.
  2. Right-click Country, and click Group on Field.
  3. In the Body section, right-click LAST_YEARS_SALES, and click Summarize.
  4. Move the summary field to the desired location in the group footer.
  5. In the "Properties" view, click Summary Operation, and click Sum.
    The values in each group are now subtotaled.
