Crystal Reports for Rational Application Developer Designer Guide

To order groups by summary value

  1. Create a report with summarized data.
  2. On the Report Structure panel, click the group.
  3. In the "Properties" view, on the Sort By list, click By Summary Field.
  4. On the Sort Order list, specify the sort direction.
  5. Customize the summary field.
When you run the report, the program will order the groups based on the summary value(s) specified.
