You can use the Web client to create and edit a text file
in the repository.
About this task
To create and edit a text file:
Procedure
- On the Source Control page, navigate
to the stream, component, and folder where you want to create and
edit a new file.
- At the top of the page, click Create and edit
a new text file.
- Edit the file.
- Optional: To change file properties, click Edit
File Properties and update the appropriate fields.
Note: If the content type starts with text, the content is inlined
in the file view.
- Enter a comment or associate a work item with the operation.
- Click Save.
