After submitting work items and Rational® ClearQuest® records, you can update these
items as work progresses to include information such as current status,
scheduling updates, and comments.
Before you begin
In the current version of the ClearQuest bridge,
if you update a work item, you must manually update the associated ClearQuest records. Similarly,
if you update a record, you must manually update the associated work
items.
Update a work item that is associated
with a record as you would any other work item in the IBM® Rational Team Concert™ Web
client.
To update a record:
Procedure
- Find and review the
record.
- In the ClearQuest Records
view, use the toolbar commands to update the record. Work
items that are associated with this record appear in the column to
the right of the record display as links in the Work Items section.

- Click a link to open the work item in the Work Items view
and update it.
