Resolving work items and records

You must manually update and resolve work items and associated Rational® ClearQuest® records.

About this task

Resolving a ClearQuest record does not automatically update the associated work items. Similarly, resolving a work item does not automatically update the associated record.

Resolve work items associated with records as you would any other work item in the IBM® Rational Team Concert™ Web client.

To resolve a record in the ClearQuest Records view, fill in the required fields and select Resolve from the Change State menu.
