Microsoft® Visual
Studio Help viewer is divided into following windows. You can drag
and drop these windows anywhere in the Help viewer.
About this task
- Contents: Displays the Table of Contents of Microsoft Visual Studio and the installed
components.
- Index: Displays the index of Microsoft Visual Studio and the installed
components.
- Search: Type text in the Search field. You can use double
quotation marks for exact searches, asterisk (*) or question mark
(?) wild cards, or Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT).
Note: The Search
criteria for Language, Technology, and Content Type must be set to
All.
- Help Favorites: Displays the topics that you selected as
favorites. To add a topic as favorite, right-click in the topic and
click Add to Help Favorites.
