Starting a new change set

You can create a new, empty change set in anticipation of adding changes to it.
About this task
To create a new change set:
  1. In the Pending Changes tool window, navigate to the component in which you want to create the new change set.
  2. Right-click the component and click New > Change set.
  3. Right-click the new change set and click Edit Comment. Enter a comment that describes the intended use of the change set. An entry with the name Enter Comment is added to the Outgoing folder.
