A project area consists of streams and each stream has
many components. You can search for a particular component. You can
search for components even when you are not connected to the project
area.
Before you begin
Before you search for components, log into the repository.
About this task
To search for a component:
- In Microsoft® Visual
Studio, click .
- In Repository, select
a repository. If you are not connected to the repository,
click Logon to get connected.
- Optional: In Name begins with,
type a text string that identifies the name of the component.
- Optional: In Owned by drop-down
list, select a user name.
- Click Search to start the search. The search results are displayed in the Team
Concert Search tool window.
