You can find work items by either running queries or by
retrieving a particular work item by its ID. Queries are particularly
useful when you need to search a group of work items that match a
set of conditions.
Creating a query
You can customize the search for work items by creating
queries. A query consists of conditions that your search is based
on. For example, you can create a query that returns all open work
items for the current iteration. You can create as many queries as
you want.
Using a predefined query
Jazz™ provides a set
of predefined queries that you can use to retrieve work items that
meet a set of conditions.
Retrieving a specific work item
Every work item has a unique ID. You can retrieve a work
item by its ID or by the text string contained in the work item's
summary, description, and other attributes.
Viewing work item history
Jazz keeps track of your work items and provides a convenient
way for you to access that history.
