1.0 概觀

這份文件說明如何利用 IBM Rational® Product Updater 來安裝或更新 IBM® Rational® Application Developer 及 IBM Rational Software Architect 的 J2EE 連接器工具特性。 您應該使用 Rational Product Updater，直接從 IBM 更新伺服器安裝或更新這項特性；不過，您也可以下載含有這項特性的 ZIP 檔，然後使用 Rational Product Updater 來執行本端安裝或更新。下列各節說明如何安裝或更新這項特性。

2.0 安裝和更新必備項目

若要直接從 IBM 更新伺服器安裝或更新特性，您需要有 60 MB 的磁碟空間。如果您下載、解壓縮，以及從 ZIP 檔安裝或更新特性，您需要有 120 MB 的磁碟空間。

您必須先安裝下列其中一項更新，才能安裝這項特性：

如果您尚未安裝 Fix Pack 6.0.1.1 或 Refresh Pack 6.0.1，建議您安裝 Rational Application Developer Fix Pack 6.0.1.1 或 Rational Software Architect Fix Pack 6.0.1.1。

附註：如果您的系統上已安裝 J2EE Connector Tools Feature 6.0.0.1 版或更舊的版本，而且想要將Rational Application Developer 或 Rational Software Architect 更新為 6.0.1.1 或 6.0.1 版，您必須也要將 J2EE Connector Tools Feature 更新為 6.0.1.x 版。

如果您修改 feature.xml 檔或透過「更新管理程式」（按一下說明 > 軟體更新 > 管理配置）來停用任何產品特性，您必須先啟用它們，才能安裝這項特性。

3.0 安裝特性

如果您已安裝這項特性的舊版本，您不需要重新安裝該特性。請參閱 4.0 更新特性一節，以取得說明如何更新這項特性的指示。

請以安裝產品的同一個使用者帳戶來安裝特性。

限制：

若要直接從 IBM 更新伺服器安裝特性，請完成下列步驟：

  6. 關閉 Rational Product Updater。

4.0 更新特性

5.0 下載特性進行本端安裝或更新

若要下載並安裝或更新 Rational Application Developer 的特性，請完成下列步驟：

  1. 從 ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/rationalsdp/rad/60/zips/rad601_J2C6012.zip下載特性。
  2. 將特性解壓縮到暫時目錄中，如 C:\temp。
  3. 如果需要安裝指示，請瀏覽至 C:\temp\rad\，然後開啟 install_local_j2c_6012.html。

若要下載並安裝或更新 Rational Software Architect 的特性，請完成下列步驟：

8.0 解除安裝特性

請以安裝產品的同一個使用者帳戶來解除安裝特性。

限制：

如果要解除安裝特性，請完成下列步驟：

  1. 啟動 Rational Product Updater：

    2. 附註：在 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 和 SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.0 中，如果您使用非預設的桌面環境，產品捷徑可能不會出現在預設位置中。

  2. 按一下回復標籤。「回復」頁面中會顯示已安裝之產品更新項目和特性的庫存。
  3. 選取 J2EE 連接器工具。


    4. 更新項目之間的相依關係會自動強制實施。如果您選取回復其他已安裝之更新項目所相依的更新項目，則也會選取相依更新項目加以回復。

  4. 按一下回復更新項目。
  5. 關閉 Rational Product Updater。
