What's new
- You can use the server to search the network for potential agent
locations. See Discovering agents automatically.
- You can now specify permissions for objects at a more granular
level. See Roles and permissions.
- You can change the language of the web interface. See System settings.
- The server now supports Linux on POWER®. See System requirements and performance considerations.
- You can now install a server that is compliant with Federal Information
Processing Standards (FIPS). SeeInstalling the server in interactive mode.
- Documentation is now provided for the REST API. See REST API reference
- You can now deploy components to IBM z/OS® data
sets. The user interface has been enhanced to display partitioned
data set (PDS) members in component versions. See Deploying to the z/OS platform.
- The process editor has been updated. You can copy and paste process
steps. You can also require comments on all changes to processes.
See Processes.
- The ability to set up artifact repositories in agent relays that
cache downloaded artifacts. The agent relays can be located in different
parts of the world. After an artifact is downloaded into the relay
cache, subsequent requests by agents that are attached to the relay
are served by the relay itself instead of the main server, reducing
deployment time.
- A new integration with IBM UrbanCode Deploy with Patterns provides
the ability to provision cloud environments on OpenStack and Amazon
Elastic Compute Cloud. See Integrating with IBM UrbanCode Deploy with Patterns.
This integration requires version 6.1.0.1.
