Help navigation

The help navigation is designed to be flexible, yet consistent among all IBM® Rational® products.

The help topics are organized within general top-level topics, such as Developing. The top-level topics are product-specific: the help for each product contains different combinations of the topic areas that are in the following table.

Installing How to install the product. This section also includes release notes, requirements, and information about potential installation issues, including temporary problems and limitations.
Upgrading and migrating How to upgrade the product, and how to move from one version of the product to another
Integrating How to integrate Rational Rhapsody with other products, such as other design tools, integrated development environments (IDEs), and configuration management tools.
Configuring How to set up your computer and software, including optional tasks to meet specific uses
Collaborating How to collaborate on tasks
Designing and modeling How to design and model software
Developing How to develop software
Reporting How to create reports
Extending product function Information about application programming interfaces (APIs), extension points, and utilities
Troubleshooting and support Self-help resources and tools that you can use to troubleshoot problems
Reference Reference information, including command, language, and UI materials
Glossary Definitions for product terminology
Using the help Help with using the online help system, and changing how the help system accesses content (local, enterprise, or remote)
