Although you can use generic elements when you build a IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® ReporterPLUS template
so that you can use it with any IBM Rational Rhapsody model,
it is possible to use model elements to build a template for use with
a specific model.
Procedure
- Open the model for which you want to create
the template.
- Locate the model elements (in blue text)
in the model view.
- Drag the specific model elements to the
template view.
Results
The rest of the procedures—adding attributes,
text, and formatting—are the same as for generic elements.
Note: Even when you are designing a template for a specific
model, it is more efficient to use generic elements rather than model
elements. To change a model element node from specific to generic,
clear the contents in the Conditions tab.
