After you install the Rational Rhapsody Design Manager Server Extension,
you must update Rational Rhapsody with
the location of your model server. Otherwise, you will not be able
to synchronize comments made between models in Rational Rhapsody and
models that have been imported onto the model server. Further, if
you want to use the CLM linking capabilities, you can create connections
to the Rational Requirements
Composer or Rational Team Concert™ servers. You can also create link between other
model servers or the server itself (if you add the server as a friend
to itself).

Results
After you have defined your server information and you click
Finish,
your models are automatically linked from your workspace to corresponding
models on your server. In the
Project Explorer view,
look for a small, chain icon in the top, left corner of the model
icon. This icon indicates that there is a link or connection established.
Using the
Design Explorer view, you can add or
remove links to various models in your workspace.
Note: A model can
only be linked to one project at a time.
