When
you
create practice files, save your
files in a different directory from the sample directory to allow
you to compare your practice work with the original IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® samples.
To create a CORBA project:
Procedure
To open the product from the Microsoft Windows Start
menu, select Programs > IBM
Rational > IBM Rational Tools > IBM
Rational Rhapsody (version #)Rational Rhapsody Developer Edition > Rational
Rhapsody Developer for C++. You must create
this project using the C++ developer edition.
Select File > New from
the main menu bar to display the New Project window.
Type Sdm_Observers as the Project
name and select a folder to use as your practice project directory.
Use the "Default" Project Type since
it contains all the items needed for a CORBA project.
Click OK. The system
opens a new project and creates an Object Model Diagram named Model1
in the Drawing area.
Note: In the browser,
select Object Model Diagrams > Model1, and right-click Model1.
Select Diagram Properties from
the menu, and in the General tab, type Main_Model in
the Name field.
