You compile, link, and run your Linux application on the Linux machine.
Perform
the following steps:
Procedure
Create the IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® project
on the host, and select the Linux environment
on the Settings tab for the configuration.
Transfer the generated directory with the
sources, headers, and makefiles from the host to the Linux machine (for example, by using ftp).
On the Linux machine,
edit the makefile (*.mak) to change the following
setting:
OMROOT=[LangCPP_Dir]
In this syntax, [LangCPP_Dir] is the
path to the Share/LangCpp directory.
To compile and link the application, enter
the following command:
gmake -f
xxx.mak
In this command, xxx.mak is
the name of the generated makefile.
An application is created in the current
directory. When you run the application on the target, the Rational Rhapsody animation
toolbar opens on the host (for applications using instrumentation).
