Lesson 1: Analyzing requirements

In this lesson, you examine the requirements for your project in IBM® Rational® Rhapsody®. You also add a new requirement for the project.
To review the high-level requirements:
  1. Expand Packages > Analysis > Packages > HighLevelRqmts > Requirements. The requirements are listed in the browser, as shown here:

  2. Double-click the Connection Attempts requirement.
  3. Note the description in the Specification field and click OK.

You need an additional requirement to restart the sensor. Add the restart requirement:

  1. Right-click Requirements and select Add New Requirement.
  2. In the model browser, double-click the new requirement.
  3. Replace the default name with Sensor Restart.
  4. Enter the following text in the Specification field: A short press (less than 2 seconds)restarts the sensor.
  5. Click OK.
You now see the new requirement added in the browser.
