Creating projects in Rational Rhapsody Architect for Software
With IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® Architect for Software,
you can create C, C++, C# (C Sharp), or Java projects
and generate code using the code generation feature.

About this task
You
can reverse engineer existing code and use it as a starting point
for your project. You can also use Rational Rhapsody Architect for Software with
Eclipse or other applications in an integrated development environment.
Procedure
Select File > New.
In the Language Selection window, select
the appropriate primary implementation language, and click OK.
In the New Project window, enter a name
for your project.
Click Browse to navigate
to an existing directory, or you can manually enter a directory path
in the In folder field.
Select a project type. The
default provides you with the standard features of the product. Each
project type listed in the menu provides a predefined, coherent set
of tags, stereotypes, and constraints.
Select a project setting. The
default setting provides the standard project settings.
Click OK.
When prompted, click Yes to
create the project directory if it does not yet exist.
