You can create implementation block (RIMB) ports, which
are typed by Rational Rhapsody implementation block interfaces, connect
to AUTOSAR ports by way of delegation connectors.
About this task
The four kinds of Rational Rhapsody implementation block
ports correspond to the four kinds of AUTOSAR ports in the AUTOSAR-authoring
support.
Note: Two kinds of ports are in the AUTOSAR metamodel. Each
port can be typed by two kinds of interfaces:
- RIMBReceiverPorts connect to AUTOSAR receiver ports
- RIMBSenderPorts connect to AUTOSAR sender ports
- RIMBClientPorts connect to AUTOSAR client ports
- RIMBServerPorts connect to AUTOSAR server ports
Procedure
- Right-click a Rational Rhapsody implementation block and
select .
For example, .
- Double-click the port you just added. In the Features window,
define the characteristics of the port.
- Because each Rational Rhapsody implementation block port
must be typed by one Rational Rhapsody implementation block interface,
on the General tab for the port, you must enter
the pre-existing interface in the Contract or
the Type field. The kind of interface must
match the kind of port.
