A system border represents the environment.
Events or operations that do not come from instance lines shown in
the chart are drawn coming from the system border.
About this task
A system border is a column of diagonal
lines, labeled ENV. You can place a system border anywhere an instance
line can be placed, but the typical locations are the far left and
right edges of the chart.
To create system borders:
Procedure
Click the System border button .
Move the cursor into the drawing area, then
click to place the system border. The system border is now anchored
in place.
Because the system border represents the
environment, it is named ENV by default. If wanted, rename the system
border.
