To
compile and build a IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® sample
in the INTEGRITY environment:
Procedure
Start Rational Rhapsody and
open the project. For example: <Rational
Rhapsody_install>\Samples\CppSamples\Dishwasher.rpy
Select File > Project Properties.
Set the CPP_CG::INTEGRITY::RemoteHost property
to the IP address of the machine on which Rational Rhapsody is
running. (To get the IP address under the Windows environment, enter the following
command at the command prompt:
ipconfig
Set the active configuration for
the sample.
For example, for the Dishwasher sample, set EXE::Host as
the active configuration.
Open
the Features window for the active
configuration and set the following values:
Set the Instrumentation Mode field
to Animation.
Set
the Environment field to INTEGRITY.
Select the
Properties tab, then click the
All filter.
Set the CPP_CG::INTEGRITY::BLDTarget property
to set the target BSP. By default, this value is set to mbx800.
If wanted, set this property to a different value.
You can set additional options and defines by changing
the BLDAdditionalOptions and BLDAdditionalDefines properties.
Click OK to
apply
your changes and dismiss the window.
Select Code to generate
the code and the build file for the active configuration.
Select Code to compile
and link the application source code. This selection generates the
following INTEGRITY executable files:
<ActiveComponent>.mod -
This file is a dynamically download type of image. This image can
be downloaded on a running kernel on the target board using the TFTP server
utility.
<ActiveComponent> -
This image is an Integrity Application type. This image must be integrated
with the kernel to form a composite image that can be downloaded on
the target using the ocdserv utility.
In these names, ActiveComponent is the
name of the component currently selected as the active component within Rational Rhapsody.
