The Change Explorer tool window lists
change sets and provides ways for you to examine each item in the
change set. You can even compare any of the items with an item in
another change set.
Before you begin
To view change sets in
Change Explorer,
the files must be in repository and you must have made a few changes
to it.
About this task
The
Change Explorer tool window has
two display modes: click the

toolbar icon to display changes
as change sets, or click the

toolbar icon to display changes as folders and
files.
To view a change set in the Change Explorer tool
window:
Procedure
- Open the History tool window of the
file and navigate to the change set.
- Right-click the change set and click Open in
change explorer.
- In the Change Explorer tool window,
expand the change set to see the files and folders it contains.
What to do next
You can right-click a file and choose any of the following
options:
- Open in compare editor : Compares the current
file with its immediate predecessor in the repository.
- Open Remote File : Opens the repository
version of the selected file.
- Open Local File : Opens the local version
of the selected file.
