Repotools command that resumes an indexing service.
Purpose
The
resumeIndexer command
restarts the repository indexing service after running a -suspendIndexer
command.
To verify the suspend and resume commands, follow these
steps:
- Ensure that the server and the indexer are running.
- run repotools -suspendIndexer.
- Check the console. It should indicate that the indexer was successfully
suspended.
- Create some resources, for example, by using the Java search sample.
- Ensure that these resources are not indexed by running a query.
- Run -repotools -resumeIndexer.
- Check the console. It should indicate the indexer was successfully
resumed.
- Ensure that the resources created above are indexed by running
a query.
