Adding and removing components

Use the Repository Workspace Editor to add components to a workspace or remove them from it.
About this task

Regardless of how you created a repository workspace, you can use the Repository Workspace editor to add or remove components in it.

To add a component to a repository workspace or remove a component from it:

  1. In the Pending Changes view, right-click the repository workspace and click Open.
  2. In the Components area of the Repository Workspace Editor, click Add to open the Add Component window. (To remove a component from the repository workspace, select it and click Remove.)
  3. In the Add Component window, choose where to look for the component. If the workspace, snapshot, or stream where you want to look for the component is not displayed, you can enter all or part of a workspace, snapshot, or stream name to see a list of matching component sources. You can also enter all or part of the name of a workspace or stream owner.
  4. When you find the component you want to add to your workspace, select it and click Finish. Select Load component additions on save if you want the components you added to be loaded into your local workspace when you save your changes in the Repository Workspace Editor.
  5. Click Save to save your changes.
Results

The components are added to your repository workspace and, if you selected Load component additions on save, loaded into your Eclipse workspace. Any components that you removed from the repository workspace are unloaded from your Eclipse workspace.
