Once you have created a synchronization stream with the New
ClearCase Synchronized Stream wizard, you can edit the
stream's properties.
About this task
You can edit the synchronized stream's values in the stream's
properties pages or you can use the Synchronized Stream Editor.
Procedure
- To access the Synchronized Stream Editor,
right-click the stream you want to edit in the ClearCase
Synchronized Streams view and click Open.
- On the General page of the Synchronized
Stream Editor, click Browse to locate
and select a different installation location for the ClearCase® Connector.
- On the ClearCase page of the Synchronized
Stream Editor, click Change if you
want to change the ClearCase stream or branch that is being synchronized. If the stream is locked, you must first click Unlock before
you can change it. Click New if you want to
create a new synchronization view to associate with the synchronized
stream.
- On the Team Concert page of the Synchronized
Stream Editor, you make the following changes:
- Edit the value in the Merge workspace field
to change the current name of synchronized stream's Merge workspace.
To create a new Merge workspace, follow the procedure in Creating a new merge workspace for an existing synchronized stream.
- To change the Clone workspace, click Change.
This creates a new Clone workspace.
- You can associate a work item template with the synchronized
stream or change the template that is currently associated. For more
information on creating a work item template, see Creating a work item template.
- If you have changed the synchronization user ID and/or password
for the synchronization process account, you can update them in the Synchronization
User area. If you have changed the synchronization user
ID, but have not changed the password, you must still enter the password
in order to create a new password file for the new user ID. For more
information on creating synchronization user IDs, see Creating a synchronization process account.
- Start the Change Synchronization Host wizard
by clicking Change the synchronization host for this synchronization
stream. You can use this wizard to enter information for
the new synchronization host. The wizard updates the synchronization
stream, creates a synchronization view for the new host, and (if specified)
starts the synchronization engine on the new host. For more information
on changing the synchronization host, see Changing the synchronization host.
