Managing and organizing reports for a project or team

If you are a leader of a project or team, you can create, organize, and share reports to help track the status, progress, and health of the project. Individual developers or team members can also create reports for their personal use or to share with the team.
About this task
Edition note: The feature described here applies to Rational Team Concert™ Standard edition and Enterprise edition only.

Reports can be managed and organized in both the Eclipse client and in the Web client.

In the Eclipse client, reports are managed in the Team Artifacts view under the Reports node.

Reports that are in the My Reports folder are only visible to you, while reports that are placed in the Shared Reports folder are visible to other members of the team. You can create folders and sub-folders to further organize the reports by team or category or purpose. For example, you can create a folder called Work Items to organize reports related to tracking bugs or enhancement requests.

Folders also have a sharing attribute that further defines each folder's visibility. A folder is either a personal folder or is shared with a specific project area or team area. This does not hide the report from others and doesn't enable any permissions
