Updating report templates with latest from Rational Team Concert™

If updated versions of report templates are provided with your latest client update, you can update the list of available templates in the Report Template folder.
About this task
Updated report templates may be available when you update your client. The updates should happen automatically during migration to the new version, but if this does not occur, you can manually update the templates. To update the Report Templates folder, you must have permission to modify.
  1. In the Team Artifacts view, expand the Reports node under your Project Area.
  2. Right-click Report Templates and click Update from Folder....

  3. In the Browse For Folder window, navigate to the report template directory. It is the com.ibm.team.examples.reports.common folder in the client installation directory. If you use the IBM Installation Manager to install the client, it is in the Installation Manager shared files directory.
  4. Select the latest version of the com.ibm.team.examples.reports.common directory. To choose all new report templates, click OK. Alternatively, to choose only the new report templates of a particular type, select that type's sub-directory, then click OK.
  5. In the Resources to Update window, review the list of new report templates. Deselect any report templates that you do not want to import, and click OK. If there are no new templates, the Select resources to update box is empty.
Results
The Report Templates folder is updated with the new report templates.
