A repository workspace on your machine is the replica of
the repository workspace available on the server. You can create a
repository workspace, load the components that contains project artifacts.
After working with the project artifacts, you can deliver them so
that the artifacts in your local workspace and in the repository workspace
on the server are in sync.
About this task
You can create a repository workspace either from a stream
or from
My Repository Workspaces. If you create
a repository workspace from a stream, it is presumed that that stream
is the flow target for the project artifacts.
To create an empty
repository workspace:
Procedure
- In the Team Artifacts tool window,
right-click My Repository Workpaces and click New
Repository Workspace.
- Select a repository connection. If you are not
logged on to the repository, click Log on.
- If you do not want to flow changes to any stream:
- Click Just backup my work., and
click Next.
- Type a workspace name and click Finish.
- If you want to flow changes to a stream:
- Click Flow with the stream, select
a stream, and click Next.
- Type a workspace name and click Next.
- Select the components that you want to add to the workspace.
- If you do not want to load selected components, clear Load
repository workspace after creation
- Click Finish.

You can add new components to the empty repository workspace.
