You can perform all work items tasks in the Eclipse client.
You can perform a subset of tasks in the Web client. This section
describes how to work with work items in the Web client.
Opening the Web interface
To work on work items in the Web interface, enter the URL
for your Jazz™ Team Server in
a Web browser.
Creating work items in the Web
Create a work item to submit a defect, task, or other type
of work request that the project uses.
Finding work items in the Web interface
The primary method for finding work items is to run queries
against the repository. Queries retrieve work items whose attributes
contain values that match those specified in the query. For example,
you might run a query that retrieves all work items whose state attribute
is Open.
Triaging work items in the Web interface
In some cases, the submitter of a work item speaks with
the developer responsible for the functional area and assigns the
work item to that developer. However, it is also common that the submitter
leaves the work item unassigned, and a member of the team area associated
with the work item category must triage the work item.
Modifying multiple work items at once
You can select multiple work items from the query results
list and make the same modification to all of the work items.
