Set either the MIME type or line delimiter of a file.
Purpose
Set the MIME type or line delimiter
of a file.
Options and arguments
- [ -P | --password ] password for user ID in repository
- The password for the specified user ID in
the named repository. If this option is not included on the command
line, you are prompted for a password. If you specified a repository
URI or nickname for which you have stored credentials using the scm
login command, this option is ignored.
- [ -r | --repository-uri ] repository URI
- Specifies the repository in which to take
this action. If you have stored repository credentials using the scm
login command, you can use the nickname you supplied for
these stored credentials
- [ -u | --username ] user ID in repository
- Specifies a user ID that exists in the named
repository. If you specified a repository URI or nickname for which
you have stored credentials using the scm login command,
this option is ignored.
- key
- The property key to set. Can be one of jazz.mime or jazz.line-delimiter.
- value
- The new value for the property.
- files
- List of files to receive the property change.
- [ -f | --force ]
- If there are errors in setting the line delimiters, this flag
causes the attempt to continue and set the property for all of the
requested files.
Example
Set the MIME type of a set of java
files:
$ scm property set jazz.mime text/java src/junit/awtui/AboutDialog.java src/junit/awtui/Logo.java junit/awtui/ProgressBar.java
jazz.mime successfully set to text/java
$ scm property get jazz.mime src/junit/awtui/AboutDialog.java src/junit/awtui/Logo.java src/junit/awtui/ProgressBar.java
