Before using the work advisor context-aware search, define
all of the parameters of the search.
Defining the context-aware search parameters includes:
- Selecting one or more search engines to support the search index.
- Configuring the search index to determine which components or
workspace pairs are indexed.
- Scheduling how often to create or update a search index.
- Defining synonyms that should be used to create the index.
From the search configuration editor Status tab, you can create
a report for the results of the search indexing.
- In the Team Artifacts view, expand your project area node,
then expand the Context-Aware Search node.
- Click the Configuration node to enter the configuration
editor. If you have already defined one or more search
engines, clicking the name of the search engine opens the search engine
editor so you can modify the definition.
- Enter the name for the search engine in the ID field. The Project Area name is prefilled with the project name in
which you clicked the search engine node.
- If you have defined any search configurations, you can
select which configurations are supported by this search engine.
- Select either Normal or Low to
specify the availability of this search engine.
