This release of the ClearQuest® record
and Jazz™ work item bridge contains
several limitations and known problems.
- To use the ClearQuest bridge,
you must be running IBM® Rational® ClearQuest 7.1
or higher.
- The ClearQuest bridge runs
only on the IBM Rational Team Concert™ Web
client.
- To associate a work item and a ClearQuest record, you must create the
link from the ClearQuest record.
- The ClearQuest bridge does
not support editing or creating queries. To edit or create queries,
use an IBM Rational ClearQuest client.
- The ClearQuest viewlets
do not support dynamic queries. If you execute a dynamic query in
a viewlet, it will run without prompting you for filter values. To
execute a dynamic query, switch to ClearQuest Records view.
- If you run a query in the ClearQuest Records view
and your browser is not maximized to a screen resolution of at least
1280 x 1024, you might see an extra vertical scroll bar on the result
set. You must use both the browser scroll bar and the result set
scroll bar to view all of the records in the result set.
- After you run a ClearQuest query,
clicking the query name a second time will not update the query results.
To refresh the results of a ClearQuest query,
you must click the refresh icon on the toolbar.
- If you add a new query to the ClearQuest Favorites
viewlet and then click Cancel, the query is
still added to the viewlet.
- If you click Cancel to close the Connect
to ClearQuest window,
the window may not open again the next time you click on the tab for
the ClearQuest Records view. If this occurs,
first click on a different tab (Project Areas or Dashboards, for example)
and then click on the tab for the ClearQuest Records view
again to see the Connect to ClearQuest window.
- The schema repository and user database names that you specify
in the ClearQuest Bridge
properties section of the Admin Web UI are case-sensitive and must
match the names you entered in the ClearQuest Maintenance tool. If the names
are not identical, you will not be able to access the ClearQuest
Records view or use the ClearQuest viewlets.
- If the ClearQuest full-text
search feature is not enabled (from both ClearQuest and from the Admin Web UI in
the Rational Team Concert Web
client) the Full Text option is still available
from the search menu on the ClearQuest Records view.
If you attempt to run a full-text search when the feature is not
enabled, you will see an alert message and the search will not execute.
