About this task
Create a new folder for organizing reports from the Web client.
Procedure
- In the Reports navigation bar, hover over My
Reports, Shared Reports, or any
of the folders under those nodes to enable the context menu.
- Click the menu twistie in the My Reports, Shared
Reports or sub-folder menu bar to display context options,
and click New Folder. If you select My
Reports or any of its folders, the new folder that is
created is private by default. If you select Shared Reports or
any of its folders, the new folder that is create is shared by default.
If you select a folder, the new folder that you create inherits the
project or team area association of the folder you selected.
- Enter a name for the new folder. If you have created a
new folder from theMy Reports or Shared
Reports nodes, select a project or team are to associate
the folder with. Click OK.
Results
The reports under
Shared Reports are
visible to all project members, organized by headings that match the
folder structure. The reports under
My Reports are
visible only to you.
