You can populate a class diagram by showing existing C# elements
that are related in specific types of relationships to the selected C# elements
in the diagram.
Before you begin
You must have a class diagram open in the
.NET perspective.
About this task
To show related C# elements based on relationships:
Procedure
- In the diagram editor, right-click a C# classifier or selected
classifiers against which you want to show related C# elements; then click .
- In the Show Related Elements in Diagram window,
click Details to expand the window or complete one
of the following steps:
- To display all the relationships of all the classifiers, click Show
All Relationships.
- To display all the first level generalization parent relationships
to the classifier, click Immediate C# Base classes.
- To display all the first level generalization child relationships
to the classifier, click Immediate C# Derived classes.
- To display all the generalization relationships to the classifier,
click C# Inheritance Tree.
- To display all the relationships of the selected classifier,
click Custom Query.
- In the relationship types window, you can
modify the relationship selections.
- Click OK.
