Loading business models as UML models

You can load a WebSphere® Business Modeler project business model as a UML model file to use as a specification, so that you can model an implementation of the business processes and tasks.

Before you begin

You must be in the Modeling perspective and have an imported business modeling project.

About this task

To load a business model as a UML model:

Procedure

  1. In the Project Explorer view, open a business modeling project.
  2. In the project root directory, double-click projectname, where projectname is the name of the business modeling project.
Note: If you make changes to a loaded business model, you cannot save the changes in the original business model project files. You can only save your changes in a separate model file that refers to elements in the business model.
