group selected model elements in a state machine into a new state
to hide the details of complex state machines.
Before you begin
Before you can group model elements
in a state machine into a new composite state, you must have a state
machine diagram open in the
Modeling perspective.
About this task
To group state machine model elements into a new composite
state:
Procedure
- Select the states that you want to include in a new state.
- Right-click the selection; then click . In the diagram editor, the selected
states are displayed inside a newly created composite state. In the
Project Explorer, all selected model elements are displayed under
the newly created state.
