Several Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT)
report designs predefined for various DoDAF views are available in
this product. You can modify the report design file and its associated
properties resource file to meet your business needs.
Before you begin
First, copy a UPIA report into your workspace.
Note: If you
customized a UPIA report design in an earlier release, the stereotypes
in the report might refer to the UPDM profile. Because the auto-migration
tool migrates models using the UPDM profile to the UPIA profile, those
report designs no longer work in the current release. For each report
design, you must find all of the UPDM profile references and change
them to the UPIA profile. You can use the Report Design editor to
change profile references. You can also open the report design file
with a text editor, change the profile reference from "pathmap://UPDM_HOME/UPDM.epx"
to "pathmap://UPIA_HOME/UPIA.epx," and then change all occurrences
of "UPDM::" to "UPIA::".
