You now publish the selected model to a web of HTML pages.
- Make sure that you are in the Modeling perspective.
- In the Project Explorer view, select the model, SimpleUMLModel.
- Click .
- In the General window, click Full. This option controls the level of detail in the output. It specifies
that the output should include all properties and contained elements for each
element.
- Click Javadoc. This option controls
the output format. It specifies that the output should be similar to a set
of Javadoc HTML files.
- Select the Generate diagram image files check
box, and select GIF as the diagram image file format.
- Select the Display element icons check box. This option displays the element icons in the navigation panes, and
the public, protected, or private status icons for elements.
- Select the Automatically display published output check
box. This option opens the root page when the publishing
is complete.
- In the Select folder to publish to field,
browse to an existing folder to use as the destination for the published model.
- Click the Overview tab.
- On the Overview page, click Enable
Overview customizations. Specify the following information:
- For Author, type your name.
- For Title, type Simple UML Model Report.
- For Company, type your company's name.
- Select the Display Publish Date check box.
This information is displayed on the Overview page
of the report. You can also add a logo or an external link.Note: The Types tab
and the Properties tab give you additional control
over the published material. Press F1 for more information.
- To start publishing the model, click OK.
A list of published items opens in your browser. You can now examine
the published model.
