You can domain modeling class diagrams to create Java classes that are enclosed in other types
(nested classes) to visually develop Java
applications.
Before you begin
You must have a domain modeling class diagram open.
About this task
To create a nested Java class,
complete the following steps:
Procedure
- In the Palette, click Class and
click an empty space inside the class diagram.
- In the New Java Class wizard, in the Source
Folder field, specify the source folder for the new class.
- In the Package field, specify the
package to contain the new class or leave this field empty if you
want the new class to be created in the default package.
- Select the Enclosing type check
box and type a name of the enclosing type in the field.
- In the Name field, type a name for
the new class.
- Under Modifiers, select access modifiers
for the new class.
- In the Superclass field, specify
the superclass for the new class.
- Click Add; then in the Implemented
Interfaces Selection window, select the interfaces for
the new class to implement and click OK.
- Select method stubs to create in the new class.
- Click Finish.
