In
UML diagrams, you can specify aliases for the diagram elements. Aliases are
useful when you want the diagram element to have a name that is different
from the name that is displayed in the
Project Explorer view.
Before you begin
You must have a diagram open in the Modeling
perspective.
About this task
To specify an alias:
Procedure
- In the diagram editor, click a diagram element.
- In the Properties view, click the Advanced tab
and expand UML.
- In the Property column, click Alias.
- In the Value column, type an alternate name.
