You can add documentation to each element in your model to explain
the role, purpose, and behavior of the element. The UML-to-C++ transformation
generates C++ comments for several UML model elements that have documentation.
The UML-to-C++ transformation generates C++ comments in a header
file when the following UML elements have documentation:
- Classes, including nested classes, unions, typedefs, and instantiated
classes
- Enumerations, including nested enumerations
- Enumeration literals
- Properties
- Operations, including inline operations, and standard operations
If UML comments have the «cpp_body_comment» stereotype applied to
them, the transformation generates comments in the corresponding body file.
