You create an Object Constraint Language (OCL) resource to store
OCL statements. You can then parse your OCL statements to ensure that they
are syntactically valid or evaluate your OCL statements to query the characteristics
of your metamodel.
Before you begin
To create an OCL resource, you must have at least one open project
in your workspace.
About this task
To create an OCL resource in the
Modeling perspective:
Procedure
- Click .
- Expand Modeling, expand UML Extensibility,
click OCL Resource, and click Next.
- On the OCL Resource page, specify a parent
folder for the OCL resource.
- In the File name field, type a file name
for the OCL resource and click Finish. The
OCL resource is displayed in the Project Explorer view.
