By setting the CDT project link dependencies, you can configure
whether a component has Real-Time Services (RTS) library dependencies or is
a pure C++ component. You can also link executable CDT projects to external
libraries using the project properties.
About this task
If the CDT project requires linking to the RTS, then the appropriate
library needs to be added to the link dependencies in the project properties.
However, the RTS library dependency is automatically set for CDT projects
based on the RT Executable type template.
To set the link to external libraries
for an executable CDT project:
Procedure
- Right-click a CDT slave project; then click Properties.
- Expand C/C++ Build; then click Settings.
- On the Tool settings page, expand Cygwin
C++ Linker; then click Libraries.
- In the Library search path section, click
the New button to add a library; then type a search
path for the library location.
