Submitting provisionable assets to the Rational Asset Manager repository

This content applies to version 7.5.1 or later. You can submit provisionable items such as patterns, transformations, UML profile toolings, and deployment technical domains from your Eclipse workbench to the Rational® Asset Manager repository. Provisionable items are represented as Eclipse features and plug-ins that must be run to provide their reusable value to users. You can publish these items to a Rational Asset Manager repository so that others can install them into their local Eclipse workbench environment.

Before you begin

The Rational Asset Manager client must be installed in Eclipse and an appropriate repository connection must be available. The repository must be configured to accept provisionable assets and you must have the necessary permissions to publish assets.
