Managing JET launch configurations

You can manage your JET launch configurations from multiple perspectives, including the Java perspective. By using launch configurations, you can preserve the arguments that you specify when you run a JET transformation.

Before you begin

Launch configurations can be installed in any perspective. You can save launch configurations in an Eclipse project, or share them with other users.

To manage launch configurations for JET transformations:

Procedure

  1. If the Java perspective is not open, click Window > Open Perspective > Java.
  2. On the workbench menu bar, click Run, and complete one of the following steps:
    • To view the launch configurations that you have already run, click Run History.
    • To create a new launch configuration, click Run, then click JET Transformation, and in the toolbar above the left pane, click the New launch configuration icon (This image shows the icon to create a new launch configuration.). Complete the fields on the Main page of the Run window.
    • To delete a launch configuration, click Run and expand JET Transformation. Click the configuration to delete, and in the toolbar above the left pane, click the Delete selected launch configuration(s) icon (This image shows the icon to delete a launch configuration.).
    • To edit a launch configuration, click Run. Expand the JET Transformation category to view the JET transformation launch configurations. In the left pane, click the JET Transformation configuration to edit.
      Tip: To launch a configuration for a JET transformation, in the left pane, click the configuration name and click Run.
