When you create an XML schema
of a UML model, you can add the XSD Transformation profile,
which enables you to model XSD elements that you cannot model with
UML elements and see a list of potential problems that can occur in
the code that the transformation generates by running the model validation
feature.
About this task
You
must have a model open in the Modeling perspective.
If
you created your model project using one of the templates
in the XSD Transformation Profile category, then the XSD Transformation profile
has been automatically applied to the generated model.
To apply
the
XSD Transformation profile:
Procedure
- In the Project
Explorer view, double-click a model or a package in a model.
- In the Properties view,
on the Profiles page, click Add Profile.
- From the Deployed Profile list,
select XSD Transformation.
- Click OK.
Results
After you apply the
XSD Transformation profile,
you can apply the stereotypes in this profile to the model elements.
