Configuring the CDT project compilation settings

The target configuration and target services library are set in the project properties.

About this task

To configure your CDT project compilation properties:

Procedure

  1. In the Project Explorer, select a CDT project.
  2. Right-click the project, click Properties, expand C/C++ Build, then click Environment.
  3. Optional: The TargetServicesLibrary property can be modified by changing the value of the RSDRT_RTS_HOME environment variable. In the value for the RSDRT_RTS_HOME variable, set the path to the TargetRTS location. If the ROSERT_HOME environment variable is set on your system, then you can typically derive the path from this location.
  4. Optional: The TargetConfiguration property can be modified by changing the value of the RSDRT_CONFIG environment variable. In the value for the RSDRT_CONFIG variable, set the compilation configuration. The RSDRT_CONFIG is typically derived from the RSDRT_PLATFORM and RSDRT_LIBRARY_SET variables, which define the platform name and library set, respectively. The library set identifies the default platform architecture and compiler information for the platform; for example, sparc_debug or x86-cygwin-gnu-2.95.3-5. Example setting for RSDRT_CONFIG: NT40CygwinT.x86–cygwin-gnu-2.95.3-5.
  5. Click OK.
