You can identify unresolved path
map references between packages and RequisitePro® projects by using the
RequisitePro
Projects page of the
RequisitePro Upgrade wizard.
If your model contains an unresolved path map reference, you can select
the RequisitePro project
(RQS) file from a valid location to resolve the reference.
About this task
In most cases, the
RequisitePro Upgrade wizard
programmatically resolves path map references by using the registry.
However, if the path map reference is unresolved, the path and path
map symbol appear on the RequisitePro Projects
page. In this case, you must navigate to and select the corresponding RequisitePro project (RQS)
file to resolve the broken reference.
Note: If you run the RequisitePro
Upgrade wizard on the same computer that you used to create
the Rose RequisitePro model,
the wizard can easily reference the defined path maps because it has
access to the appropriate registry settings. You must resolve all
path map references before you advance to the next page in the RequisitePro
Upgrade wizard.
