IMS Web 2.0 project

This topic describes scenarios typical for the IMS™ Web 2.0 project.

The IMS Web 2.0 is a Web service solution that enables you to generate source code for a Web service that supports the creation of service interfaces to IMS applications.

The following scenarios are supported:

Scenario: Create New Service Interface (bottom-up)

Generate a Web service description and runtime-specific XML message processing from a high level language data structure. You can use this option when you expose an application program as a service provider.

Generated artifacts (Compiled XML Conversion) that interact with IMS Connect (XML Converters) and with the IMS Web 2.0 Service Adapter by way of the IMS Web 2.0 Correlator.
