To assemble, link, or compile the source files in the Global
Auto Mart sample, property groups need to be associated to the different
subprojects. This lesson will guide you through the steps to associate
a property group to a z/OS® subproject.
To associate the created property groups with the z/OS subprojects:
- Make sure you are in the z/OS Projects perspective
and are connected to the host system.
- In the z/OS Projects view, expand Project
A. Right click on the subproject, GAM0MC1,
and select Property Group > Associate
Property Group.
- In the Associate Property Group dialog
box that opens, select GAM0MC1 Assemble. Click OK.
- Repeat steps 2-3 to associate the GAM0MC2 subproject
with the GAM0MC2 Assemble property group and the GAM0MC3 subproject
with the GAM0MC3 Assemble property group.
- Now, expand Project B, and repeat steps
2-3 to associate all three subprojects (GAM0MC1, GAM0MC2, GAM0MC3)
with the Assemble and Link property group
- Finally, expand Project C and repeat steps
2-3 to associate GAM0VII and GAM0VMI subprojects
with the COBOL Interface Compile project group and GAM0VMM and GAM0VSI subprojects
with the COBOL Compile project group.
