The information area at the top right corner of the Terminal tab
of the host editor contains two lines of text that identify the recognized
screen description and the working screen operations file.
First line: the recognized screen description
The
first line of the information area is the same in both screen operations mode
and in flow mode. This line identifies the
recognized screen description (see
Recognized screen description).
Second line: working screen operations file
The
second line of the information area contains the name of the in-memory screen
operations file that the host editor currently is using to store newly recorded
screen operations, and also is using to search for screen interactions to
play back. There is a separate in-memory file for this function in both screen
operations mode and in flow mode.
When the host editor is in screen
operations mode, the host editor displays the name of the
working screen
operations file (see
Working screen operations file).
- If you have loaded a screen operations file or are adding newly recorded
material to a loaded screen operations file, then the host editor displays
the name of the file (such as flow01), without the file extension .wsdl,
on the second line of the information area.
- In contrast, if you have recorded a new screen operations file and have
not yet saved it to disk, then the host editor displays "[ Untitled ]" on
the second line of the information area.
- If you are currently recording a screen operations file in the host editor,
then the host editor also displays on the second line of the information area
the fact that recording is in progress, for example, "Recording screen operations
file: flow01",
When the host editor is in flow mode, the host editor displays
the name of the current
active screen operations file (see
Active screen operations file).
- Whenever a new active screen operations file is selected, the host editor
displays the name of the new active screen operations file on the second line
of the information area. If the [ Untitled ] screen operations file is selected
as the active screen operations file, then the host editor displays the string
"[ Untitled ]" (see The [ Untitled ] screen operations file).
- If you are currently recording a flow, then the host editor also displays
on the second line of the information area the fact that flow recording is
in progress, for example, "Recording a flow using screen operations file:
[ Untitled ]".
