The service flow project tools support bidirectional data
presentation, bidirectional editing, and different formats for Arabic
and Hebrew interface messages. For terminal applications, left-to-right
screens, right-to-left screens, numeric fields, and fields with opposite-to-screen
orientation are supported.
Note: Bidirectional support is not enabled on the Linux operating system.
The bidirectional features and functionality include the following:
- The service requester dynamically specifies the bidirectional
attributes of interface messages.
- In flows, bidirectional data processing is based on the bidirectional
attributes -- text type, text orientation, numeric swapping, and symmetric
swapping -- that are added to MXSD files. These attributes can be
specified in different stages of flow creation for both interface
and terminal flows.
- The generated runtime code converts data between fields in messages
that have different bidirectional attributes.
