Exporting a z/OS project

You can export a z/OS® project to share with other users.
You need to have a workstation-based z/OS project in the z/OS Projects view. This action is not valid for local or host-based projects.
Note: z/OS UNIX subprojects use a different mechanism for export and will not be included in an exported z/OS project. See the related topics for information about exporting z/OS UNIX subprojects.
To export a z/OS project, do these steps:
  1. Select a z/OS project in the z/OS Projects view.
  2. Select Export z/OS Project from the pop-up menu. A Save as window opens.
  3. Browse to the folder where you want to save the project archive file and type a file name in the File name field.
  4. Click Save.
Now you can share the archive file location with other users who can import the project into their workspaces.
