This lesson will guide you through the steps of assembling
and linking the BMS maps in Project B.
To assemble and link the BMS maps in Project B:
- Make sure you are in the z/OS Projects perspective
and are connected to the host system.
- In the z/OS Projects view, right
click on Project B, and select Rebuild
Project.
- In the Remote System Explorer view,
expand the host system, navigate to JES > My
Jobs, and right click on the My Jobs folder.
- Select Show in Table. This will
display the results of the jobs that were executed when you rebuilt
Project B. This view allows you to easily determine if the jobs were
completed successfully or not. The Remote Systems Details view
will open.
- Make sure that the information provided in the Return
Info column is NORMAL and the Return
Code column contains values of four or less for all three
jobs that were completed. Contact your systems programmer if there
are any other return values.
- If you have to make changes to a property group, be sure
to save the changes on the property group and rebuild the project.
If you expand each of the subprojects in Project B,
you will see that there are three additional files that have been
added: an executable, a listing, and an object file.
