Set or update any of the properties shown on this page. Compiler Options: Specify options
to be passed to the local COBOL or PL/I compiler. Separate multiple
options with commas.
SYSLIB: Specify
the path to be used for COBOL COPY statements, PL/I %INCLUDE statements,
or SQL INCLUDE statements. Separate multiple paths with semicolons
on Windows or colons on Linux, such as:
- Windows: c:\myprojects\folder1;c:\myprojects\folder2
- Linux: /root/project1/folder1:/root/project1/folder2
You can use the
${project_loc} variable
to help generalize project builds. This variable specifies the project
location. It can be used to add the location on disk of the project.
If you need to pass the name of a folder in your project to your preprocessor,
you can specify it as
${project_loc}\folder1. Upon
invocation of the preprocessor,
${project_loc} is
substituted.
Environment Variables: Specify
any environment variables required by the source program. On Linux, use the export statement
to set environment variables, such as export SYSLIB=/root/project1/includes.
Source
contains EXEC SQL statements: Select this check box if
the source file contains embedded SQL. Checking this box activates Connection
Name, Browse, New, and SQL options so
that you can set database options.
Connection Name: Type
the database connection name or use the Browse or New buttons
to open an existing connection or create new connection.
Browse: Click
this button to select an existing database connection. The Database
Connections window opens.
New: Click
this button to define a new database connection. The Database Connection
wizard opens.
SQL options: Specify additional
options to be passed to the SQL preprocessor. Separate multiple SQL
options with commas. This field is limited to 100 characters.
Source
contains EXEC CICS statements: Select this check box to
start a COBOL or PL/I preprocessor to process EXEC CICS® statements in your source. Checking this
box activates CICS Options.
CICS
Options: Specify any options to be passed to the preprocessor.
Developer for System z can
provide the correct Preprocessor options for the version of CICS that is installed on the workstation.
