Synchronize with Repository

To synchronize a project with SCLM, select the project, right click and select Team -> Synchronize with Repository.

This function allows the project to be updated with the current SCLM project lists. The view is presented for both SCLM and IDE files. Using this function, you can compare the entries between the Package Explorer and SCLM project.

The SCLM Synchronize View highlights the elements that are not in the SCLM project. In this way, you can compare both the project and SCLM project lists.

You can also use the icons in the top corner of the SCLM Synchronize View to perform the following functions:

The arrow decorators indicate the files that are not in SCLM. By selecting members in either view, you can Add to SCLM or Update from SCLM those elements from SCLM. This copies the files to the desired target. If you synchronize using Archdef mode and the function is successful, you are prompted to specify whether you want to associate the Archdef and project. If you choose to do this, the Archdef's name is used when invoking either the Archdef build, Archdef promote or synchronize functions. An association can be removed by unmapping a project from SCLM, or replaced by performing an Import by Archdef.
