Summary: Exercise 1

This exercise has guided you through the steps to create an Eclipse plug-in project that adds decorators to CARMA members and containers which are locked or unsynchronized.

Results

You should run or debug your plug-in project now. Do the following while still in the testing workspace to verify the functionality of your plug-in:
  1. Make sure you are connected to your host system. Create a new connection if needed.
  2. Open the CARMA Repositories view by selecting from the file menu, Window > Show View > CARMA Repositories View.
  3. Expand a RAM that supports the Lock option.
  4. Right click on a CARMA member within that RAM, and select Lock.
  5. The CARMA member should lock, and your lock icon appear in the bottom-right hand corner of the CARMA member icon. For example:
