Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, and Concatenate transforms

In this group of transforms, the Order tab of the Properties view allows you to specify the order in which the operands are used in the specified operation.

The transforms in this group generate an arithmetic or string result of an operation that uses two or more operands. The Subtract transform and the Divide transform allow 2 operands. The Add, Multiply, and Concatenate transforms allow 2 or more operands.

For these transforms, the Order tab of the Properties view allows you to specify the order in which you want the operands to be used in the operation.

To specify the order of operands:

  1. Verify that the type of the transform that is selected in the mapping routine area is Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, or Concatenate.

  2. In the Properties view, select the Order tab.

  3. In the Order tab:

    1. Select the operand that you want to move to a different position in the sequence.

    2. Use the Reorder up-arrow and down-arrow controls to move the operand to a different position in the sequence.
