The host editor initially loads the screen descriptions into memory when it is opened, and the host editor later automatically re-loads the screen descriptions into memory whenever an event occurs that changes or could change the version of the screen description that is stored on the workstation's hard disk (see Reloading screen descriptions automatically).
During screen operations recording, during flow recording, or at any other time that the host editor does screen recognition (see Recognized screen description), the host editor searches only in the currently loaded screen descriptions for a screen description matching the currently displayed application screen.
Therefore, before starting to do screen operations recording or flow recording, you should load the most recent versions of your screen descriptions stored on disk into memory as the currently loaded screen descriptions, by clicking the Reload Screen Descriptions icon (see Reloading screen descriptions manually).
