JCL procedures allow you to add, edit, and remove user variables and values.

Before you begin
The same process can be used to edit user variables and values for
JCL procedures on any of the
JCL Substitution pages.
About this task
The following process shows how to edit user variables and variable
values for a COBOL program.
Procedure
- To edit a user variable and parameter value for a JCL procedure
used with a COBOL program, open the COBOL Settings page
of the Properties window. In the right pane of the window, select the JCL
Substitution tab.
- Select the entry you want to edit in the JCL Substitution table
- Click Edit. The Edit a user variable window
opens.
- Change the variable name in the Variable name field.
- Change the value of the variable in the Variable value field.
- Click OK. The variable name
and value are changed in the table and properties list. Repeat these steps
as necessary to edit the rest of your variables and values.
