Use the Import Source Files wizard to add COBOL or PL/I
source files to a single-service project.
Follow these steps to add source files to a
single-service
project:
- In the EST Project Explorer, right-click the name of the single-service project to which you want to add
source files.
- Select . The Import Source Files wizard opens.
- In the Import Source Files wizard:
- Create a list of source files to import:
When
the user imports a WSDL file into a single-service project, instead
of creating a copy of the WSDL file in the workspace (old behavior),
a linked resource is created, which points to the actual location
of the file in the file system. This aids in resolving any imported
schemas in the WSDL file.
Note: Because the imported
file is a linked resource, deleting the WSDL file or any of the dependent
XSDs in the file system causes the links to be unresolved
and causes the Web service wizards to open with an error.
- Select the check box Overwrite existing resources without
warning if you do not want the wizard to warn you when
you are about to overwrite one source file with another source file
of the same name.
- Click Finish to import the source files.
The wizard copies the source files into the Source folder of
the
single-service project (see
Folders and subfolders in a single-service project).
