Using the Wizard Launchpad

This topic describes how to use the Wizard Launchpad.

The Wizard Launchpad opens when you start a single-service wizard either (a) from a project in a perspective other than Enterprise Service Tools, or (b) from the Remote Systems view (see Contexts for starting the single-service wizards).

To use the Wizard Launchpad:
  1. Select a runtime environment, a development scenario, an application mode, and a conversion type (see The single-service wizards).
Note: The launchpad displays only those options that are valid in light of the file that you selected before starting the launchpad. For example, if you selected a WSDL file then the launchpad does not display the development scenario Create New Service Interface (bottom-up).
  2. Select or clear the Save generation properties check box (see the next section of this topic).
  3. Click Start. The appropriate single-service wizard opens.

The values selected on the launchpad in Step 1 determine which single-service wizard is started and which options it presents.

Note:

The Save generation properties check box

If you select this check box then the single-service wizard that is launched remembers the values of the options that you select on the wizard pages. When you run the same wizard again the options are set to the remembered values.
