Applying a filter to the CA Endevor SCM view

  1. Select the SCM environment, system, or stage id that you want to apply a filter to.
  2. Right-click on the object to display the menu and select New -> New View…
  3. Enter the values you want to use as a filter.
    Environment
    is the Environment. Specify the range you want to view.
    Stage ID
    is the Stage ID. Specify the range you want to view.
    System
    is the System.
    Subsystem
    is the Subsystem name.
    Element
    is the Element.
    Type
    is the Element type.
    CCID Type
    is the CCID (Change Control Identifier) type.
    CCID
    is the CCID (Change Control Identifier).
    Note: The values for Environment, Stage id, System, Subsystem, Element, Type, and CCID can contain wildcard characters. However, the values for the To Environment, To Stage ID, and CCID type must not contain wildcard characters.

    You can use a combination of filters to narrow the list of items displayed.

    For example, the following figure displays a list without a filter.

  4. Select Finish.
