To create generation properties with a single-service wizard:
Start the Wizard Launchpad from a type of project other than a single-service project.
On the launchpad select Save generation properties (see The Save generation properties check box).
Start the wizard for the development scenario for which you want to create generation properties files.
Work through the pages of the wizard, selecting for each option the value that you want to be specified in the properties file for the batch processor.
On the File, data set, or member selection page, on the Properties tab, specify the path and names that you want to use for the three generation properties output files (see Properties tab).
The wizard does its usual processing and in addition creates the three generation properties files required by the batch processor, using the values that you specified.
You can now run the batch processor using the three new generation properties files.
To create generation properties manually from the sample files:
Create a input directory to contain the new generation properties files.
Open each sample file with an editor and set the appropriate values for the configurable properties:
Container.xml
You can now run the batch processor with the newly configured generation properties files.
The sample files are located in the following directories:

For Linux the sample files are located in the following directories:
/opt/IBM/SDPShared/plugins
and where ui_directory is the directorycom.ibm.etools.est.ui_rrrrrr.vyyyymmdd_hhmm
in which rrrrrr is a one-to-eight-character release number and yyyymmdd_hhmm is a time stamp showing the year, month, day, hour, and minute.
For Windows the sample files are located in the following directories:
C:\Program Files\IBM\SDPShared\plugins
and where ui_directory is the directorycom.ibm.etools.est.ui_rrrrrr.vyyyymmdd_hhmm
in which rrrrrr is a one-to-eight-character release number and yyyymmdd_hhmm is a time stamp showing the year, month, day, hour, and minute.
