Not-selected sets

Not-selected record sets are different from the other two shadow line types in that they are never editable within the Formatted Data Editor.

Not-selected sets are placeholders marking where a group of not-selected records exists in a data set. These groups are shown as shadow lines and are identified by the following icon.

Not-selected set icon.

To identify the number of records that are not-selected in a particular set, hover your mouse cursor over the shadow line to display the number of records.

Hover text displaying that there are 4 records not selected in the not-selected set.
If you would like to view the individual records that have not been selected:
  1. Select the Show button located in the Formatted Data Editor toolbar. The Show button located in the Formatted Data Editor toolbar.
  2. Select Not Selected records from the drop down menu
The records that make up the not-selected set will then display as individual shadow lines within the editor. To make the not-selected record sets selected again, the record selection criteria defined within the template being used must be modified using the Template Editor.
