Navigating in the Enterprise Service Tools with the keyboard

The Enterprise Service Tools supports the accessibility key functions provided by the IBM® Rational® Software Development Platform. The flow editor of the service flow project tools has some additional control key functions.

The Enterprise Service Tools support the accessibility key functions provided by the IBM Rational Software Development Platform. For a fuller description of these keys, see Accessibility features in Eclipse.

The following table provides short descriptions of the most commonly used platform control keys:
Key: Function in the IBM Rational Software Development Platform:
Tab Cycles through the controls in a particular scope.
Ctrl+Tab Cycles through the main controls for the workbench and also cycles through views that use the Tab key, such as editors.
Ctrl+Shift+Tab Cycles like Ctrl+Tab, but in reverse order.
Ctrl+F6 Cycles through editors.
Ctrl+F7 Cycles through views.
Ctrl+F8 Cycles through perspectives.
F10 Accesses the menus on the workbench main main menu.
Shift+F10 Opens the context menu for the current view.
Ctrl+F10 Opens the pull down menu for the current view, if there is a pull down menu.
