In the Outline view, you can add, delete, or rename a screen operation in a screen operations file that you are editing.
Note: When you are using the screen operations editor and you have made changes to a screen operations file:
- To save the changes to the screen operations file on your computer's hard disk, click Ctrl-S.
- To discard the changes since your last save, close the screen operations editor immediately without saving.
To add a screen operation:
- Verify that the screen operations editor is open and that the Actions tab is selected.
- In the Outline view, right-click the name of the screen operations file (for example, flow04) that you are editing.
- Click Add New Screen Operation menu entry.
Note: If the Add a new operation menu entry is disabled this means that the screen operations file already contains a screen operation for each screen description that you have defined in the terminal application folder.
- The screen operations editor opens the Add a New Operation window.
- Select the screen description for which you want to create a new screen operation.
- Click OK.
- The Add a New Operation window closes.
- The screen operations editor adds a new, empty screen operation to the end of the screen operations file.
To delete a screen operation:
- Verify that the screen operations editor is open and that the Actions tab is selected.
- In the Outline view, right-click the name of the screen operation that you want to delete (for example, OperationIn_1).
- Click Delete.
- The screen operations deletes the screen operation and its contents from the screen operations file.
To rename a screen operation:
- Verify that the screen operations editor is open and that the Actions tab is selected.
- In the Outline view, click the name of the screen operation that you want to delete (for example, OperationIn_1). The screen operations editor displays the properties of the selected screen operation in the Properties view.
- In the Properties view:
- Click the Name property. (You can click either in the Property column or in the Value column.)
- In the Value column, type the new name and press the Enter key.
