Modifying a Next Screens element

Use the Modify Next Screens window to modify a Next Screens element.
You can modify a Next Screens element from two locations in the service flow project tools:

In both cases, the Next Screens element is displayed in the Outline view, and therefore in both cases the steps for modifying a Next Screens element are essentially the same.

However, the steps for opening the Modify Next Screens window are slightly different in the screen operations editor and in the host editor:

The Modify Next Screens window opens.

In the Modify Next Screens window:
To add a screen description to this Next Screens element:
  1. In the Available Screen Descriptions list box, select the screen description that you want to add to the Next Screens element.
  2. Click Add. The screen description is removed from the Available Screen Descriptions list box and is added to the Next Screen Descriptions list box.

To remove a screen description from this Next Screens element:
  1. In the Next Screen Descriptions list box, select the screen description that you want to remove.
  2. Click Remove. The screen description is removed from the Next Screens Description list box and is added to the Available Screen Descriptions list box.

Note: The function for the Move up button and the Move down button is not implemented at this time. Although these two buttons can be used to change the order of screens in the Next Screen Descriptions list, this order does not have any effect when the screen operation is played back.

In both list boxes, you can use the Ctrl-key plus a left click of the mouse to select more than one screen description. Also, in the Next Screen Descriptions list box, you can use Select all or Deselect all to select or deselect all the screen descriptions in the list.

To save your changes and close the window, click OK.

To discard your changes and close the window, click Cancel.
