Starting the launchpad from a type of project other than a single-service project

This topic describes how to start the Enterprise Service Tools Wizard Launchpad from a type of project other than an Enterprise Service Tools single-service project, using the example of a Workstation COBOL or PL/I project in the z/OS® Projects perspective.

This topic uses as an example a Workstation COBOL or PL/I project in the z/OS Projects perspective.

To start the Enterprise Service Tools Wizard Launchpad in this context:

  1. Create a project if you have not already done so (see Creating a Local Project in the z/OS Projects perspective).
  2. Copy source files into the project if you have not already done so (see Copying source files into a project using the Navigator view).
Note: If the user wants to run a top-down scenario via WSDL file with imported schemas in the Resource perspective, the user should copy the whole directory structure into the resource project.
  3. Right-click an appropriate source file (see Summary of supported runtime environments, scenarios, and conversion types).
  4. Select Enable Enterprise Web Service.

The Enterprise Service Tools Wizard Launchpad opens.
