Pushable Manifest Editor errors

The following table lists errors that can occur while creating a mapping for remote synchronization.
Table 1. Pushable Manifest Editor errors
Severity Text Resolution
Error Invalid Format, expected path found ? The file is in an unsupported format. A non-path item was found when a path was expected. Open the .RemoteMapping file in a text editor and correct the line in error.
Error Unrecognized remote resource type ? Open the Pushable Manifest Editor and set a valid remote resource type or clear the mapping for that item.
Error Unrecognized remote resource location Open the Pushable Manifest Editor and set a valid remote resource location.
Error Unspecified remote resource type Open the Pushable Manifest Editor and specify a remote resource type, or clear the remote location.
Error The Specified host ??? is unknown. Open the Pushable Manifest Editor and specify a valid host location.
Error A Host must be specified. Open the Pushable Manifest Editor and specify a valid host location.
Error The same remote resource is specified multiple times. Each remote resource can only be specified once per project. Open the Pushable Manifest Editor and set one of the local items in error to map to a different remote location.
Warning Local Resource does not exist. Either create the local resource or clear the mapping from the editor.
Save the RemoteMapping file after you have finished making any changes. If you have automatic build enabled you will see any errors in the file appear in the Problems view. If automatic build is not enabled you can start the build by choosing Project > Build Project from the menu bar. If the Problems view is not visible, you can open it by selecting Window > Show View > Problems. Clicking on any error in the Problems view highlights the line that must be corrected in the Pushable Manifest Editor.
Note: Remember that you must build the project for the Problems view to update.
