Adding an action

To add an action to an existing screen interaction in the screen operations editor, right-click the screen interaction in the Outline view and then click the menu entry for adding the action (such as Add Input).
To add an action to an existing screen interaction:
  1. Verify that the screen operations editor is open and that the Actions tab is selected.
  2. In the Outline view:
    1. Select the screen interaction (such as Interaction 0) to which you want to add an action.
Tip: If the Outline view is not visible, see Opening or reopening a view.
Note: If the Add Aid Key menu entry is disabled, this means that the selected screen interaction already contains an AID key action. A screen interaction cannot contain more than one AID key action.
    2. Click the menu entry for adding the action (such as Add Input).
      • The new action is added at the end of the selected screen interaction in the Outline view.
      • The properties of the action appear in the Properties view.
  3. In the Properties view, set the properties of the new action to the values that you want to use:
  4. See the links in the Table 1 for a description of the properties of each action.
