Troubleshooting information for importing COBOL files from a remote z/OS system

This topic contains troubleshooting information for import COBOL files from a remote z/OS® system.

If you encounter a problem importing a COBOL source file or a copy book file from a remote z/OS system, look in the following list for a possible resolution to the problem:

  1. If you cannot resolve a problem, then you might want to download the COBOL files to your workstation and then import the COBOL files from your local file system or from your workspace.
  2. The following messages can appear in the Refresh Dependencies Problems window. Click Details to get more information:
    • The following message indicates that the JES subsystem is not connected:
      JES subsystem is not connected. Connect to the subsystem and retry
      the operation. 
    • The following message can indicate that you have specified a PDS that does not exist in the SYSLIB:
      The submitted job has ended with a JCL error.
