When the host editor is in flow mode, click the
Save
Flow icon

to save the working flow into a flow file.
When you save a flow for the first time after you
have completed a flow recording, the host editor saves the following
artifacts into files in the workstation's file system:
- The working flow is stored into the flow file (see Using the working flow).
- The working screen operations file is stored into the screen
operations file (see Working screen operations file).
- Any other unsaved artifacts related to the flow recording are
stored into the appropriate files.
To save the working flow (and any other unsaved artifacts related
to the most recent flow recording) into files in the workstation's
file system:
Do not switch to screen operations mode. You will lose the
contents of the working flow.
Click the Save Flow icon
.
The host editor writes the working flow to disk, using as the
file name the name of the current working flow. You typed in or selected
this name either:
The information in the working flow is not discarded after
a save. The working flow still contains the information that you saved
to a flow file.
Note: You can load a different working flow as the new working
flow (see
Loading a flow).
Note: The
host editor disables the
Save Flow icon

in the
following circumstances:
- During flow recording.
- Immediately after you load a new working flow.
- Immediately after you save the current working flow.

Save Flow icon

in the
