Starting the XML to COBOL Mapping wizard (request mapping)

This topic describes how to start the XML to COBOL Mapping wizard to create an request mapping session file.
To start the wizard:
  1. Expand a project other than an Enterprise Service Tools single-service project, such as a Local Project (Workstation COBOL or PL/I) in the z/OS® Projects perspective (see Steps 1 and 2 of Starting the launchpad from a type of project other than a single-service project).

  2. Right-click a WSDL, XSD, or XML file (see Files types for the source and target entities in request or response mapping session files).

  3. Select Enable Enterprise Web Service. The Enterprise Service Tools Wizard Launchpad opens.

  4. In the launchpad:
    1. Select the host runtime (see Using the wizard launchpad).
    2. In the Development scenario list, select Map an Existing Interface (meet-in-middle).
    3. Make selections in other fields on the launchpad if you wish (see Using the wizard launchpad).
    4. Click Start.

The XML to COBOL Mapping wizard opens.
