How mapping routines are used in terminal flows and nonterminal flows

In terminal flows mapping routines are used for managing data and performing input, Extract, and Insert actions. In nonterminal flows mapping routines are used for managing data and for handling the input and output parameters of invoked nonterminal applications, invoked outbound Web services, and invoked flows.

See Mapping routines in terminal flows and in nonterminal flows.
