Editing the flow invoked by a While node

This topic describes how to edit the flow invoked by a While node.

These instructions assume that you have opened a flow in the flow editor and that the flow contains a While node (see Basic information about While nodes).

To edit the flow invoked by the While node:

  1. Open the invoked flow:
    1. Right-click the While node.
    2. Click Display Flow.
Note: Alternatively, you can do either of the following:
    • Double-click the While node; or
    • Click any node or connection in the Outline view that belongs to the flow invoked by the While node.

The flow editor opens the flow invoked by the While node.

  2. Make the changes that you want to make in the invoked flow.

  3. Close the invoked flow and return to the original flow containing the While node:

    1. In the Outline view:
      1. Turn off Overview Mode if it is on (see Outline view).
      2. Right-click the name of the original flow at the top of the Outline view.

      3. Click Display Flow.
Note: Alternatively, you can click any node or connection in the Outline view that belongs to the flow containing the While node.
    2. The flow editor closes the flow invoked by the While node and displays the original flow that contains the While node.
