Setting compiler options for linked resources

If you have copybooks or include files in linked folders located outside of your workspace, you can configure your COBOL and PL/I settings to find these resources during syntax check or open copybook and open include file operations.
To set local compiler options for copybooks or include files in linked folders:
  1. For a local file, open either the Local COBOL Settings or the Local PL/I Settings Properties page, depending on your source code.
  2. Select the Local Compiler Options item.
  3. In the SYSLIB field specify the path to the linked folder containing the copybooks or include files. You can use the ${project_loc} variable to help generalize project builds. This variable specifies the project location. It can be used to add the location on disk of the project. If you need to pass the name of a folder in your project to your preprocessor, you can specify it as ${project_loc}\folder1. Upon invocation of the preprocessor, ${project_loc} is substituted.
