The SCLM Developer Toolkit allows you to work with files and projects
within several views. The SCLM functions available to you depend on
which view you are working in and are divided into the following function
types:
- General functions
- SCLM Developer Toolkit allows you to use the Java tools in Eclipse to develop applications.
The SCLM Developer Toolkit functions available while working in Eclipse
are detailed in the General functions topic.
These functions are available from both the Eclipse Package Explorer
or Navigator views.
- SCLM view functions
- Alternatively, you can use the SCLM Developer views to develop
applications through a "portal" to SCLM services. The SCLM Developer
Toolkit functions available while working in the SCLM views are detailed
in the SCLM view functions topic. The SCLM
view refers to both the SCLM Developer Mode and the SCLM Explorer
Mode. For detailed information on the differences between these modes,
refer to Configuring projects for SCLM
- Build functions
- Build functions are available in both General functions and SCLM
view functions. The SCLM Developer Toolkit build functions are detailed
