Table

Use the Table tool to create a table. This is equivalent to creating the DO statement.

You can modify settings for an existing table using the Design page tools.

To place a table, complete the following steps:
  1. Click the Table button in the Advanced palette.
  2. Click the left mouse button at the location that you want in the design canvas.

    The Create New Table wizard opens.

  1. In the first panel, specify the number of rows and columns.
  2. Click Next to configure the columns.

    Click Finish to create a default table.

  3. In the second panel, click Add to create additional columns.
    You can specify the following column properties:
    • Column header
    • Width
    • Field name prefix

      Specifies the prefix for the field names within the new column.

    • Input

      Specifies whether a field is an input field or a label.

    Use the Edit option to change preferences for a specific column. You change the column position in the table by using the Up and Down buttons.

You can specify the following table properties:
  • Create header separator row

    Specifies whether a row should be placed between the header row and the table data.

  • Filler character

    Specifies the character used to fill the separator row.
