File Manager History view

File Manager Integration provides a history view that lists previously used data sets that have been opened in the Formatted Data Editor.

The File Manager history view displays recently accessed data sets that were opened with the Formatted Data Editor. To open the File Manager History view, select Window > Show View > Other... > File Manager > File Manager History.

Entries in this view are displayed in a table that contains the following information about the data set:

New entries are added to this view when a Formatted Data Editor session has ended. New entries are added to the bottom of the table, but can easily be sorted by clicking one of the column headings in the table.

Data sets listed in the view can be opened simply by double clicking the name of the data set. Data sets can also be opened for editing, selected for browsing, or deleted from the view by right-clicking and selecting an option from the pop-up menu. In addition, the entire view can be cleared by selecting Clear history from the pop-up menu.

Note: All entries in the File Manager History view are stored locally in the client machines workspace.
