Editing service properties

In the Properties view, the following tabs are available for editing service properties: Core, Interface, and Binding. This topic describes the fields in those tabs.

Service core properties

To access service core properties, complete the following steps:
  1. Right-click a service name in the canvas.
  2. Select Show Properties View.
  3. In the Properties view, select the Core tab. The fields for the core properties are as follows:
    Name
    Modify the name of the service.
    Intents
    Are not supported in CICS.
    Policy sets
    Are not supported in CICS.

Service interface properties

To access service interface properties, complete the following steps:
  1. Right-click a service name in the canvas.
  2. Select Show Properties View.
  3. In the Properties view, select the Interface tab. The fields for the interface properties are as follows:
    Interface type
    Choose WSDL.
    Interface
    Enter the name of the interface for the service. You can browse to interfaces in your current project, workspace, or other locations.

Service callback properties

CICS® does not support callbacks.

Service binding properties

A binding describes the mechanism clients use to access a service. SCA, CICS, and Web service bindings can be added.
To access service binding properties, complete the following steps:
  1. Right-click a service name in the canvas. Select Show Properties View. In the Properties view, select the Binding tab.
  2. Select Show Properties View.
  3. In the Properties view, select the Binding tab.
  4. On the Binding tab, select SCA, CICS, or Web service.
