Deleting a message, transform, or connection

To delete a message, a transform, or a connection, select the item and then click the Delete selected elements Delete icon on the toolbar of the mapping routine area. (Alternatively, you can delete any of these items using the contextual menu.)

To delete a message, a transform, or a connection:

  1. In the mapping routine area, select the item that you want to delete.

  2. On the toolbar of the mapping routine area, click the Delete selected elements icon Delete selected elements.

The mapping editor deletes the selected item.
Equivalent method using the contextual menu:

You can also delete a message, a transform, or a connection using the contextual menu:

  1. In the mapping routine area, right-click the item that you want to delete.

  2. Select Delete.

The mapping editor deletes the item in the same way that it does when you click the Delete icon on the toolbar (see the preceding text).
