You can use the Database Application Generator preferences to specify
deployment settings for specific target systems. To modify the preferences,
select .
For information about customizing COBOL templates, see Setting preferences for COBOL programs.
JCL job card
Specify the JCL
settings for Database Application projects.
Note: Some of the generated JCL artifacts might need further customization
in order to work correctly in certain environments.
CICS Deployment
You can set
the following options for deployment onto CICS® systems:

program.
Example: thezossystem.ibm.com
- Host Code Page
- This setting specifies the code page on the target MVS system.
Example: IBM-037
To
enable bidirectional options, you must specify the applicable code page. For
Arabic, select the IBM-420 code page. For Hebrew, select
the IBM-424 code page.
