The tasks in this topic area assume that you have added one or more physical formats to a message set (see Adding a physical format.
When you have added objects to your message model it is likely that you will want to configure the physical properties of these objects. The following task relate to configuring the physical properties of message model objects:
Switch to the Enterprise Service Tools perspective.
If the Outline view is not visible, from the workbench menu, click . If the information listed above is not displayed, ensure that the message file is open in the flow message editor. Message files have an .sfmxsd file extension.
Display the Properties tab of the flow message editor by clicking Properties in the bottom left corner of the editor area. In the flow message editor, in the Properties Hierarchy, the name of each of the physical formats that have been added to the message set appears under Physical Properties. The object type (for example, Local Element or Global Element) of the message model object that you selected in the Outline view is displayed under each physical format shown.
Under Physical Properties, click the object type for the message model object that you have chosen to configure under the physical format. The properties of your selected message model object appear in the Details view.
Save your changes by clicking from the menu or pressing Ctrl+S. Alternatively, from the menu, click or press Ctrl+Shift+S.
