System z LPEX
Editor
The System z® LPEX Editor is enhanced to include:- Record-length limit enforcement, including a visual record boundary
marker, a warning dialog when saving a file containing lines that
exceed the record length limit, ability to highlight records that
exceed the length limit.
- A cursor column marker to aid proper alignment of code blocks.
- Enhancements to the System
z LPEX Find command to highlight all occurrences for matches.
- Content assistance for -INC and ++INCLUDE keywords.
- PL/I host syntax checking support for support for CICS® TXSeries for Multiplatforms 6.2.
- Ability to generate JCL for compile, link, and go for DB2® applications that use either
TSO or the Call Attachment Facility.
- A technical preview of Resource API documentation, including documentation,
samples, and Javadoc.
BMS Editor
The BMS Editor is improved to
include: - The Array tool with editing capabilities. Array properties can
be edited by selecting a repeating field. The Editing Array wizard
opens with all the current properties. Once the properties are changed,
they are saved and reflected in both the array and the source. To
change the individual field properties, select the particular field,
right click, and select Field Properties. The Array tool includes
deleting, selecting, and moving arrays by clicking on any field within
the array.
- The Structure tool with editing capabilities. Structure properties
can be edited by selecting a repeating field. The Editing Structures wizard
opens with all the current properties. Once the properties are changed,
they are saved and reflected in both the structure and the source.
To change the individual field properties, select the particular field,
right click, and select Field Properties. The Structure tool
includes deleting, selecting, and moving structures by clicking on
any field within the structure.
