You can then use the input fields to modify the values of the generation properties of that node.
on the icon for that node in the
hierarchical tree in the left pane. If you select the icon for the affected
node in the hierarchical tree, then the editor displays a specific error message
on the right side of the window in the area above the generation properties (see Error messages in the generation properties editor). When the Source tab is active:

To modify the generation properties of a flow node or an invoke node:
Select the Generation Properties tab.
In the hierarchical tree in the left pane, select the node.
On the right side of the editor area, specify in the input fields the new values that you want to use for the generation properties.
When the Generation Properties tab is active, if a node displayed in the hierarchical tree contains a generation property that happens to be set to an invalid value, then the generation properties editor displays two types of error indications:
on the icon for that
node in the hierarchical tree.
If you select the icon for the affected node in the hierarchical tree, then the editor displays a specific error message on the right side of the window in the area above the generation properties. For example, if the Adapter Name field for an invoke node is empty, then the editor displays above the first input field the error message Adapter name must be defined.
When the errors for a particular node have been resolved, then the editor removes the error indications.
