Operations log

To get to the operations log, select Team -> Operations Log.

The Operations Log function provides a record of service requests made with diagnostic messages received from SCLM. The log information is provided in chronological order. If a function failed or did not perform as intended, the Operations Log provides an output of the service result. This output is color coded for easy location of relevant information and automatically scrolls to the first highlighted message. Enhanced fault determination information is also contained in the Operations Log.

Logs are stored on a date and time hierarchy. Individual functions can be viewed by selecting the time and function. The log can be cleared fully or on specific date. Contents of the log can be stored in zip format for future reference.

Using the SCLM Developer Toolkit Preferences page, you can specify the maximum amount of disk space to use for operations logs, and the maximum length of time to retain logs. Refer to the IBM SCLM Developer Toolkit Preferences page topic for details on setting these options.
