The three single-service wizards are started from the Enterprise
Service Tools Wizard Launchpad.
The following is not applicable for "An Enterprise
Service Tools single-service project"
The
single-service wizards are the main wizards for generating
service interface files (see
Using the single-service wizards). The single-service
wizard categories are:
- The bottom-up wizards
- The top-down wizards
- The meet-in-the-middle wizards
Each single-service wizard contains a series of pages that allow
you to specify values for the various options for generating service interface files (see Using the wizard launchpad).
The Enterprise Service Tools Wizard Launchpad provides
a graphical user interface for starting the single-service wizards
(see Using the wizard launchpad).
The launchpad also allows you to specify certain general options
for the single-service wizard, including:
The runtime environment on the remote z/OS® system
for which you want the wizard to generate
service
interface files:
- Web Services for CICS®
- XML Transformation for CICS
- SOAP for CICS
- IMS™ SOAP Gateway
- IMS Web 2.0
- Batch, TSO, and z/OS UNIX System
Services
Note: TXSeries for Multiplatforms runtime is supported
by the single-service wizard as follows:
- TXSeries supports bottom-up deployment scenario only
- TXSeries supports Service Provider mode of Application mode only
- TXSeries supports only Interpretive conversion mode.
The application mode of the Web service application
for which you want the wizard to generate files:
- Service Provider
- Service Requester (available
for some runtimes)
The type of data conversion that you want to be used by the
generated
service interface files:
- Compiled XML Conversion
- Interpretive XML Conversion (only available for
Web Services for CICS or XML Transformation
for CICS)
