Generation properties for the HATS runtime environment

This topic describes the generation properties for the Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) runtime environment. Use the generation properties editor to modify these properties.

To modify the generation properties, follow the steps described in Part 2. Modify the generation properties if required.

Unlike the CICS® Service Flow Runtime, HATS operates via macro and contains only one node set. The following table lists the HATS generation properties, including property name, description, value range, and default value.

Table 1. HATS generation properties
NAME DESCRIPTION DEFAULT VALUE
Macro Pause (ms) Sets the value, in milliseconds for the HATS macro Pause between Actions property. This property is used to allow time for "screen settling". You may need to modify this value for your runtime environment. 60000 milliseconds
Macro Timeout (ms) Sets the value, in milliseconds, for the HATS macro Timeout between Screens property. This property is used to prevent the macro runtime from hanging indefinitely if the macro runtime cannot recognize the next application screen. This problem can occur if the list of next screens in the macro screen currently being processed has a misspelling or some other problem. 300 milliseconds
