If you have bidirectional data on the z/OS® system, you will need to set up the code
page conversion to support the transfer of bidirectional data between
the z/OS system and the workstation.
To do so, you will first need to create a bidirectional conversion
table file and then customize your code pages using the conversion
table file.
Bidirectional conversion tables are XML files that describe
the bidirectional layout of remote and local systems. Create a bidirectional
conversion table file using the Bidi Conversion Table wizard.
- Select File -> New -> Other -> Bidi Conversion
Table Wizard -> Bidi Conversion Table.
- Click Next to start the Bidi Conversion
Table Wizard.
- Proceed through the wizard pages:
- On the Bidi Conversion Table window, fill in the required
information. For example:

by the editor. Close the editor.
