Using the New Service Flow Project wizard

The New Service Flow Project wizard allows you to generate and initialize the three main structural artifacts required by a new service flow project -- the service flow project itself (a framework of folders and subprojects), a service interface, and a flow -- in one operation.

However, if you prefer to skip the optional features of the wizard and just create an empty new service flow project for now (which you can do on the first page of the wizard), you can do so. You can add the other artifacts later. The help topics at the end of this topic include links to other topics that will help you do this.

To start the New Service Flow Project wizard:
  1. Move the mouse pointer anywhere over the EST Project Explorer.

  2. Select New > Service Flow Project.

  3. The New Service Flow Project opens.

You can also open this wizard by selecting File > New > Service Flow Project on the main menu of the workbench while the Enterprise Service Tools perspective is selected (see Shortcut to wizards).
