You can check the versions of the compiler and individual filesets
installed by using the
lslpp command:
lslpp option_string
where
option_string can
be:
- -L fileset
- Displays the version and state of the fileset specified
- -f fileset
- Displays the files and symbolic links associated with the fileset
specified
- -w filename
- Indicates which fileset belongs to the specified file (filename)
Restriction: The command lslpp does
not detect filesets that have not been installed using the SMIT or installp methods.
For example, to check the version of the compiler installed,
enter the following command:
lslpp -L cobol.cmp
