Explanation
A communication failure during the processing of a
global transaction can occur when a TCP/IP or socket failure occurs
or when IMS™ Connect is down. The connection in error
will not be reused.
User response
- Examine the Java exceptions to determine the reason for the failure
to connect to the host.
- Check the z/OS® console for associated IMS Connect
or TCP/IP error messages.
- Validate that system can be reached through TCP/IP and that IMS Connect
has not been brought down.
The command type (commandtype) in the error
message refers to the stage at which this communication failure occurred
during the global transaction: prepare, commit, rollback, recover,
or forget.
