Sample: SAP adapter outbound

This sample creates a J2C Java™ bean that connects to a SAP server.
Time required: 5 minutes
Restriction: This sample does not run on IBM® WebSphere® Application Server Developer Tools for Eclipse.

After you import the sample, it creates a Java project for you to explore. You need to modify the SAP server connection information in the generated Java implementation file. For instructions on how to do this, click Setup instructions.

To use the sample, click Import sample, and save the compressed file to a directory on your workstation. After downloading the sample, import the sample project into your workspace: Click File > >Import > >Existing projects into workspace > >Select archive file, and then click Browse to find the downloaded sample project file.

This sample might require some optionally installable components. If you encounter errors or cannot find user interface options when you run the sample, ensure that you installed the appropriate optional components: To use this sample, you must have an application server installed and configured. To verify that a server runtime environment is available, click Window > Preferences > Server > Runtime Environments. You can use this pane to add, remove, or edit installed server runtime definitions. You can also download and install support for a new server.
