To generate input/output data bindings, you specify the
required property names as well as connection properties for the J2C Java™ bean.
Procedure
- From the Java Bean Creation and Deployment Configuration page,
click New to create a new project into which
the J2C Java Bean will be generated.
Enter MFSPB in the Project Name field.
Click Finish to return to the Publishing
Properties window.
- Enter com.ibm.ims.mfs.soa as the Package Name.
- Enter PhoneBook as the Interface Name.
The interface name is automatically created using the implementation
name.
- The Generate Command Bean is optional.
- Enter the JNDI name you used when you set up the connection
factory of the IMS™ TM resource
adapter you
installed on IBM® WebSphere® Application Server and
click Finish.
Important: You
must use the same JNDI name that you used in the WebSphere Application Server Connection Factory.
Results
Now that the J2C Java bean
is generated, you can proceed to generate other J2EE resources, such
as web services, based on this J2C Java bean.
