You can set the data import configuration properties for
the source PL/I file that you import into your project.
Before you begin
This page allows you to set the data import configuration
properties for this data binding file. You can change the defaults
for these properties in the
Preferences page. Alternatively, you can change
the properties in the source code in the Java™ editor once you close the wizard.
About this task
Once you have imported your PL/I source file into your project,
you can set the data import configuration properties.
Procedure
- Platform: select the platform on which the PL/I program
runs.
- Code Page Selection: indicate the Codepage of the PL/I
program on the target platform.
- To set the advanced data import configuration properties,
click Show Advanced.
- Enable IMS™ Support
- : CICS® Option
Three options for CICS translation are available:
- None - No CICS translator
is used when importing PL/I source
- CICS Transaction Server
for z/OS® v3.1 - CICS v3.1 translator is used when importing
PL/I source.
- CICS Transaction Server
for z/OS v3.2. - CICS v3.2 translator is used when importing
PL/I source.
- Endian
- Little: The little endian representation of integer data.
- Big: The big endian representation of integer data.
- DBCS option
- NODBCS: The NODBCS option causes the listing to show all
DBCS shift-code (that is, 0x0e and 0x0f codes) as ".".
- DBCS: The DBCS option specifies that the source program
does not contain double-byte characters.
- GRAPHIC option
- NOGRAPHIC: The NOGRAPHIC option specifies that the source
program does not contain double-byte characters.
- GRAPHIC: The GRAPHIC option specifies that the source program
can contain double-byte characters. The hexadecimal codes '0E' and
'0F' are treated as the shift-out and shift-in control codes, respectively,
wherever they appear in the source program, including occurrences
in comments and string constants.
- Click Next.
