When you deploy a unit test UDDI registry,
you can add categories
for use when publishing to or searching the registry. You can use
a category
value file to populate the category with values. Users of the registry
can
import the categories and associate the values.
About this task
- Defining category
values
- You can use a category value file to define
a hierarchy of values for
a category in a unit test UDDI registry. The values can be used to
validate
incoming values if they are restricted, and to provide lists of possible
values
to users of the registry.
- Configuring a registry
with categories
- You can configure a new unit test
registry, or reconfigure an existing
one, to add categories for use by publishers to the registry.
- Importing
categories from a registry
- You can import categories
when you open a unit test registry, and map
the categories to values from a value file.
