Now that you have built and deployed the MFS Phonebook
service, you can test it on a production IBM® WebSphere® Application Server by using
a test client JSP.
About this task
To test the service on a production server by using a test
client JSP, complete the following steps:
Procedure
- Launch a browser and type the following URL: http://host_name:your
port number/MFSPhoneBookWeb/jsp/TestClient.jsp.
Tip: The first time you access this URL, the page
might load slowly because the JSP is being loaded.
- Issue a query to display a phone book entry. Type the following
values in the fields on the input JSP:

- Click Invoke.
- Verify the Phonebook application default data displays,
then click the back button on your browser to return to the input
JSP
- Issue a query to add a phone book entry. Type the following
