Applications (both web service providers and clients) may contain binding configurations that are stored within the application EAR (in the META-INF folder) for managed applications, and within the project src folder for the thin client project. The policy set binding stand-alone editors abstract this to the level of the service and the client, and use the Services view to allow you to edit or create binding configurations invoking the editors without knowing the location of these files.
To attach the binding configurations being created or edited to the application endpoints you must use the policy set attachment wizard.
Once you have finished with the editor a folder with the specified binding name will be created, and the binding files from the template will be copied in to that folder. An editor for each policy type will be launched with which you can configure each policy type binding.
Once you have finished with the editor the new binding files from the template will be copied in to the bindings folder. An editor for each policy type will be launched with which you can configure each policy type binding.
