A model is a model element that contains a group of model elements presenting an abstraction of a system from a specific perspective and at a particular level of detail. The model contains all the model elements (for example, actors, use cases, classes, and packages) that are needed to present the specific perspective of the system. Each model presents a simplified version of the system so that it can be better understood. Different models of the same system can show different perspectives.
