Precompiled kernels and postmaster object/lib
A C/C++ compiler is required for the TTCN Link, the SDL Suite simulation and exploration features, and for SDL/TTCN to C compilers for host and target environments.
For information regarding installation, see the compiler documentation.
The libraries included in the distribution of the TTCN Link, the simulation and exploration features were built and tested using the compilers listed below. You are advised to install and use the same compilers, or closely compatible ones. It may be possible to use other compilers, but this is not tested or supported.

There are a number of RTOS integrations available for IBM Rational SDL Suite. For more information about these integrations, please have a look at the “Build and Certification Matrices” in the online help.

· To be able to read documentation in PDF format you need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
Follow the instructions in the document “sdlttcn_suite_installation_guide.pdf” found in the installation archive.
To obtain a license for IBM Rational SDL and TTCN Suites you need to provide Customer Support with the hostname and hostid of the computer on which the license server is to be run. How to proceed is described in detail in the Installation Guide.
