Eclipse Update site for IBM WebSphere Application Server Community Edition

Welcome to the Eclipse Update Site, which contains the features and plug-in versions for IBM WebSphere Application Server Community Edition project releases, published in the form expected by the Eclipse Update Manager.

Note: This site contains both the new 2.0 Eclipse plugin as well as the old 1.1 Eclipse plugin. The rest of this page describes the new 2.0 Eclipse plugin. For information on the old 1.1 Eclipse plugin, click here.

The new 2.0 Eclipse plugin supports WASCE 2.0 and 1.1 servers. While not officially supported, it can be used with Apache Geronimo 1.1, 1.1.1 and 2.0.1 servers. The plugin will download the WASCE servers from this site. Apache Geronimo servers must be downloaded separately. See the Apache Geronimo Download site.

It does assume, however, that you have the Eclipse Platform, Web Tool Platform Project and its prerequisites installed.

To use this update site in your existing installation of Eclipse, add the following URL as a remote update site in your update manager -

Tip: Any time you add a new update site, export your bookmark files from the "add a site" dialog. Having an exported copy will make it easier to re-create your development environment.
